So after coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years or so my wife and I finally had enough this evening. It had been a couple of months since the last visit so we decided to try again tonight and see if they can serve the food all at the same time so things don’t get cold, wow was I wishing for something so simple and for the third time did not get it. We are pretty reasonable people especially when the food is as good as these folks put out. It is very hard for me to compute great food and horrible service in the same sentence but is true. So the excuse is always we are so busy, and of course they assume that is a satisfactory answer to their paying customer. Incompetence is something I have little patience for especially when they offer nothing but a so sorry. All day long in general that’s all we get, apologies for something everywhere we go. Reasonable food and service is all we look for but apparently hard to find these days . Totally baffled as to what happened to this establishment. Same people serving since but don’t know what is happening in the kitchen. Soooooo unless you want great cold food stick to the combo plates, at least all that is in one plate so it might come to you hot. All other dishes good luck. Here comes the sesame chicken and then the rice10 minutes later, by then all is cold. War wonton soup sometimes will come the normal way, twice lately super spicy and had to send it back. I can safely say that we are done with this nonesence. Three times in...
Read moreFrom the beginning the ringer woman was a bit rude. Not sure if her day was super busy or she’s stressed but she yanked the menu out of my hands after ordering. The other woman was a lot more attentive and friendlier offering drinks fixing our chairs, overall showed more effort in our comfort and requests. The soup had an excessive amount of egg yolk, with an odd smell. Tasted a different serving of the soup and it had less (I could have had a bad batch). The egg roll was terrible, crunchy but had an off taste too it almost as if a vegetable was possibly going bad but still put in. Not greasy, not over stuffed, not burned it was decent. The dipping sauce was a bit too strong for me it gave me a slight bitter taste almost made my head throb. The chow mein is cooked exactly like a flea market truck I know. (Not exactly 4 1/2 tar material as the reviews are given) The chicken teriyaki was fried not grilled which is a nice change. Chicken was soft on the inside, the sauce was super salty though. The rice was over steamed, but the vegetables were perfect compared to the rest of the dish lol. I gotta say the fried wonton was my favorite… nicely fried not burned not too oily. Everything else is...
Read moreIn all this time that I have lived I have never visited this Chinese Restuarant. I went due to the reviews and I had already been craving Chinese food like no other. So I went and as I walked in you could see how clean and well painted the place was compared to other Chinese establishments I have visited before.
The staff is super friendly and from the moment I ordered my food and paid the food was out in 10 or less. To be honest it was within 5-10 minutes, which is quick. They had just opened and had a few tables so that was quite impressive.
I took the food togo and had ordered a dinner combo minus the soup because it was take-out. There was a lot of food and it all looked and tasted great. I was quite impressed with the flavor in the broccoli beef I had got. I love that specific dish and they definitely did not disappoint in “wowing” me with that dish. None of tasted microwaved or from the day before, it was all very fresh and made to order.
I can’t wait to come back and probably take a seat to enjoy everything they have...
