Came here for the first time the other day on Father’s Fay because we saw the cute little garden area they had and thought it was so cute to get coffee and hang out. Our daughter was ecstatic when she saw that there was area of play. We ordered the tropical lemonade for our daughter, salted pistachio latte, and orange cream matcha which were featured drinks to “beat the heat”. Our order was brought to us within 10 minutes. Service was nice and friendly and ambiance was relaxed. First sip of the tropical lemonade had me gagging. It was waaaaaaaaaaaay too sweet. All you can taste is the syrup. We had to dilute with 2 cups of water and even still, it was too sugary! The salted pistachio latte did NOT taste like pistachio at all and the orange cream matcha did not taste like orange cream. Despite all that, the coffee and matcha still tasted delicious. We had to dispose of the lemonade. I’m bummed this place wasn’t what I expected, however, we did have a great time hanging out in their lawn/garden area. Would come here again because it is easy to get to as it is right by the freeway entrance. Just wish they had their drinks together.

This little shop is drive thru only. It looks like they have 2 drive thru lanes around both sides of the building. There is parking around as well and a bunch of outdoor seating, in different areas, around including some spots with beautiful artwork next to it (an example is in the picture with the beverage). So unless it’s really busy, if you want to be able to sit by yourself and allow your coffee to kick in, it’s a beautiful spot to do it! I got an iced Mayan mocha, it is espresso, cinnamon, almond, vanilla, and milk. Absolutely delicious! 😍 such a good combination of flavors. The staff seemed very happy to be there and work together. I asked for a receipt, which the cashier didn’t know how to do, and someone came over to help the cashier and said “this is a great learning opportunity” which I thought really shows how good the staff is there!

Common Heart – Visalia, CA This place is one of Visalia’s hidden gems! Common Heart is a great coffee spot with a relaxing vibe and plenty of shaded outdoor seating. They even have a patio area where kids can play chess, making it a nice family-friendly stop. It’s conveniently located right off the freeway, directly in front of COS, and easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. The music sets a chill tone, and the staff inside are friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or looking to hang out for a bit, this spot hits the mark.

These drinks here are very good. Common Heart has a wide variety of drinks some even paying tribute to the old drinks from the prior location. They offer a nice 10% discount to your order making it way cheaper than corporate chains. My wife and I loved this place we spent an average of 12 dollars a day for both of us. We are saddened to part ways with this coffee shop. April 30th 2025 @ aprox 09:40 one of the staff members approached us accusing me of being rude to numerous members there. She went as far claiming I called a staff member stupid. Now reflecting back I realize that I was having a private conversation with my wife about a family member while waiting for our drinks. This conversation was very separate from common heart or the lady at the window. I had responded to my wife, "dude that's so stupid". It can be noted that the girl was visibly distraught from the beginning of the transaction. She eavesdropped on our conversation and thought we were talking about her. Another time that can be considered me being rude is one of the newer girls handed my the Mayan mocha (very good drink) that i usually order. It's topped with whip and cinnamon unless requested not to. The handed my drink with no whip or cinnamon I got upset that girl messes up on my drink every interaction with her. I go everyday so I would often try to avoid her but they are set up in a single tiny building with two drive through windows on each side so sometimes I would get her side. It became a common issue that this particular woman would mess up mine or my wives drink. Those of you who drink coffee know how someone messing up your daily coffee can make you feel. I was not rude i just stated that the coffee comes with toppings after the third time or fourth time wouldn't you be upset. If anyone even got this far in the review just be careful with private conversation in your vehicle they might think your are talking about them. Other than those two staff members the whole other team is awesome very happy people and friendly just rotten apples in the bunch that can spoil everything it's a shame. Goodbye...

Common Heart in Visalia is a charming coffee shop that offers both convenience and a delightful place to relax. Whether you’re in a hurry and need to use the drive-through or have some time to unwind, Common Heart caters to both.

One of the standout features is the outdoor seating area, shaded by a majestic tree, providing a cool and comfortable spot to enjoy your coffee. Adding to the charm is a little free library, a wonderful touch that encourages a community spirit and offers something to read while you sip your brew.

For those who enjoy a bit of fun with their relaxation, Common Heart has giant games like chess and Connect Four. It’s a great way to spend time with friends or family in a laid-back environment.

Overall, Common Heart is a fantastic spot to grab a delicious coffee and take a moment to relax, whether you’re on the go or looking for a peaceful place to sit and...
