The Habit is the one place you'd want to make a "Habit" going to, but.. 27 dollars for a salad and a double char combo can hit the wallet pretty hard! I sure wouldn't want spending almost 30 dollars a meal a "Habit." So now that I have my "Habit" puns out of the way, it's time to review..

Customer Service: Top 5 best! This is up there with In-N-Out quality service! From the moment we pulled up to the speaker they we're attentive, professional, helpful and made the experience one to remember. You always know a good place when they "not only repeat your order at the speaker, but also repeat your order when you're at the window. 5 stars for service

Food Quality: Some of the BEST from the Habit either of us have had in a long time! We got a Santa Maria Cobb salad but sub Tri-Tip and a double char combo. The salad was AMAZING!!!! TRI-TIP has been the BEST I've ever had here! It's succulent, melt in your mourh, works so well with the salad. The double char burger combo comes with a "one size" fry and we made the drink a large "Pibb" of course! You gotta jump at the opportunity when they have "Pibb" on tap. The burger was INCREDIBLE!!!! Juicy, flavorful, cheese was melted perfectly! Fries were salted just right! The only thing wrong was my "Pibb", didn't have the sweetness that it usually does, "more carbonated" which was a let down. Stick to Coke if you want the perfect drink with your combo. 5 stars for Food Quality

Overall: yes we paid 27 and change for a salad, a combo and a medium drink. Usually I'd tell you "wow too pricey! Stay away!" But The Habit has made me a believer in the saying that "you get what you pay for" that is very much the truth here. It's going to be pricier then most, but it's going to be worth it. Been a fan of The Habit for years and the location here in Visalia was phenomenal for the first many years they were here and since we lived close by for many years, we ate there at least once a week, often more than that. The food was great and they were outstanding at ensuring order accuracy. Sadly, over the past year or 2, there's been a noticeable decline, particularly in order accuracy. We went years without them getting an order wrong and now, nearly every single time we order from here, we are missing items we paid for or they are made incorrectly, as happened again this evening. Not sure what's going on with the employees at this location and why there no longer seems to be any priority on actually taking a minute to review the order receipt that is often secured right on the front of the bag to ensure that everything the customer order and paid for is included and prepared as ordered. Recognizing that this is ongoing problem occurring regularly it's getting to the point that, in spite of enjoying the food we get when it is correct, it's not worth wasting money on when the store seem to doesn't care about ensuring customers get what they paid. What I find truly perplexing is that, in the state of California, fast food workers now have a $20 minimum wage, yet despite making that higher hourly wage, the service has gotten significantly worse. I recently visited Habit Burgers, and while their burgers are indeed delicious, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer. The highlight of my visit was the outstanding service provided by Austin. Austin went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we were satisfied with our meal. It's not often that you find someone who takes such pride in their work and truly cares about the customers. Whether it was recommending menu items or checking in to see if everything was to our liking, Austin did it all with a smile and a positive attitude. It's clear that Habit Burgers values their customers and understands the importance of great service.
