The parks staff love their seniors. Providing them with a fun place to enjoy conversation, meals, events, game play, yoga, dancing and connection that helps them continue to be young at heart. I had the pleasure of volunteering on the garden build at the Senior Center along with my Visalia Chamber Leadership vlass of 2016-2017 just a few short years after moving fromthe midwest to Visalia. At the time the Visalia Community Enhancement Foundation doing business as the Parks and Recreation Foundation hadan amazing Exevutive Director with an office at the locatinbetween the team and that ED they encouraged me to stay active by joining the Parks commission and the foundation fast forward a few years and that thought of this garden sure could benefit from a mural..three reditions, mural committee reviews and artust changes finally a co foundation and commisdion member was able to find the right partner to bring that mural to life. Thank you to the Kiwanis and the memorializatio of their 100th Anniversary and artist Stevie Daniels for bringing this beautiful historical transition...

I got to fellowship with the teacher of the class here and we talked about Jesus telling his disciples that some of them would not taste death until his second coming meaning there is a disciple around here still because I believe he rose again and if god can do that he can keep a man here eternally that's what Jesus died on the cross for.
