Hong Kong Lum Lums — Restaurant in Visalia

Last Friday evening I met up with My wife and her coworkers about six PM. I ordered a gin and tonic that was very watered down with cheap gin I asked for tanqueray gin, My wife was finishing a dominatrix which she liked but the second one she ordered was not like the first one it was weak and was told that the first drink was made by a different bartender. The bar waitress told us that different bartenders make drinks differently and could not tell us what was in the dominatrix when my wife asked the bar waitress replied "they use whatever they have". With an attitude!

I got hungry so I ordered the Lum lums special beef and mushrooms dish I asked for spicy sauce which it was but I received only for small pieces of beef and the rest was mushrooms.

After we left and talked about our experience at Lum lums my wife tell me about when her and one of her co-workers first got there and sat at one of the tall tables the waitress put the menus down and a roach crawled out of one of the menus. Which made my wife ask her co-worker and the waitress,"Did you see that ROACH!"the waitress said nothing and took the menus and brushed the roach under the floor did not step on it or anything and walked away. The wife and her co-worker we're so tired and had a long week they just moved across the restaurant to a different table and left it alone. When the waitress returned to the new table my wife's co-worker asked if they were going to get any kind of a discount for the roach and she "said sorry it's not our policy"! IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT HAPPENED,,, THE WATERED DOWN DRINKS AND BURNT FOOD IS ONE THING... BUT IF I KNEW ABOUT THE ROACH WE NEVER WOULD HAVE STAYED FOR ANY OF IT AND WILL NOT EVER GO BACK TO LUM LUMS AND WILL NOTIFY THE HEALTH...

Over the past 10 years or so I have visited lum lums and had good times and atmosphere Pleasant, but last night I went to meet some friends and I wasn't sure if they were there so I stood at the bar and was going to order a beer the bartender was talking and maybe pour in a few beers and looked over at me and I ain't so I thought maybe I don't have my money so I held my money out still no response I got her and like a finger in the airafter a while I thought well you know he's not coming over to me he's not busy some other people came up and stood next to me and he walked me lean over and give them beer I saw am I not seeing you didn't help me and help them already,immediately was rude to me and acted like he wasn't even sorry I didn't say sorry so I got my beer walk away sooner the table for a while still there the way just come up and clean the table but she was very rude about it and not even say excuse me or sorry or nothing so it was not a great experience last nightI put them down on 1 to 10 I would say there are two three last night maybe not always but that's the...

So far soup is great, the server could have been a bit nicer but she is an older lady and perhaps was just a bit tired. The hot chicken was great no sauce needed for seasoning or a hint of spice but salty.. My noodles were burnt but the other dish noodles weren’t, not sure if maybe I was unlucky or too complicated to deal with. Made a request for steamed rice instead of pork fried rice is all. One eggroll was super yummy for my tummy ! A bit oily but it’s expected for something as delicate as a egg roll. The fried shrimp also super oily. If you’re curious about what I ordered it’s the number one on their menu. The fried wonton were the first items I ate off my plate lol super delish. Flipped over a rupturing egg roll only to discover it was super burnt at the bottom…. The others super salty not sure what happened that one was good light salt a bit oily but still good …..
