Javi's Taco Shack — Restaurant in Visalia

Me and my Family used to love this place.....but today I decided that I will NEVER bring then back in.

40 minute wait....for 6 tacos....only 2 orders went out while I waited. My food was given to someone else....and after they picked through it and realized it wasn't theirs.....they gave it back. Then the girl covered them back up and called me and handed me the Tacos....HELL NO!!

You know they done that before because she acted like nothing. I told her to remake them....She then told me there was ONLY 1 of the 3 meats I ordered......and while they were picking thru the tacos she took phone orders and counter orders of the same meat......so she lied.....because she had to remake them and she messed up handing out the order to some random person. So what about the new orders?

There was people there waiting 30 minutes for the rest of their order....after getting only half of it. People in there were not happy...kinda sad. Some were even warning customers as they walked in....and they were leaving. The girl was taking orders while people were trying to order their food....making people at the counter wait till she was done.

The bad think is I know the owner....and I sent him a message....letting him know they were falling apart.....because I like eating here.

After today I will not take my family there....Imagine eating food that someone else put their fingers in?

I just want to express our extreme gratitude to Javi's Tacos for catering to our family funeral event in Tulare. I was a little worried I saw them come in a little truck and thought how are they going to feed all of us? Next thing you knew, they had a canopy set up. A cute menu board, and the salsa bar had all the fixings, it was beautiful! We had all-you-can-eat tacos, burritos, quesadillas, delicious chips, and three different types of salsas PLUS a pico de gallo! It was delicious! My family was so hungry and by the end of it all, so very satisfied! The man Alex worked the grill and I apologize for not getting the other man's name but he was taking everyone's order very efficiently and he was kind and funny with everyone. Just what we needed that day. They worked so well and quick together! We had predicted about 75 people and it went very smoothly. We were just so pleased with these two guys. We couldn't thank you guys enough. They supplied the plates, napkins, and forks. We didn't have to worry about anything. It was just so perfect. After everything we got to keep the chips and salsas and any leftover foods (for our predicted 75) and said our goodbyes. We hope to use Javi's Tacos catering services again. I highly recommend them! Really good spot has a lot of potential. Not to mention it’s the only cantina in town, but today I went by with my wife and son I placed an order for all three of us. My son and wife’s food came out as part on mine (jalapeño poppers) were left on the counter. The bar tender/waitress walked our table twice without checking on us. My wife finally asked about my food after her and my son were already finished eating just for the waitress to ask “what was the order again” she ran and got the cook who was mingling around with what I assume was family or friends around the bar. HE NEVER MADE MY FOOD! Other then the jalapeño poppers. I canceled my order the waitress told the cook, he walked over to my food that was left on the counter and started to eat it. I kept my composure paid my tab and left. Seem like everyone who works there is friends or family so sad to say no one will ever be held accountable for poos...
