Don Felipe's Panaderia — Restaurant in Vista

The owner of this business is known for being unfriendly. I've confirmed this with multiple neighboring business owners. The last time I visited I had called to see if they could reserve 2 dozen conchas for me. They told me I would have to come in.

When I came in shortly after calling, they were rude and told me all they had was what was left in their display cases. They only had 3 conchas. I asked if they could bring me some from the back racks and they said they had to sell the old bread first. I felt like telling them what they could do with their old bread. I guess they don't...

More then a 5-star his bread are always made fresh and delicious and you'll never find another local bakery like his. The prices are convenient for delicious fresh out of the oven bread there is whole wheat there's sugary bread and there's all these type of like breads that you can absolutely think up and he will have it fresh out of the oven. Not to mention when you opened up the door it's the best smell of just pure fresh bread and it's nothing like the other...

I just came for a Rosca de Reyes today, January 6, and here's my honest opinion: it does not taste anything like a Rosca. Doesn't have that orangy taste. The toppings were all misplaced, like they were in a hurry and put them there quickly without worrying about the presentation.
