Lai Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Voorhees Township

I have to leave a review. My husband and I love Lai Thai and have ordered out here multiple times. Each and every time we agree unanimously - BEST WINGS EVER. YES you read that right. If anyone I know is looking for a wing recommendation I refer them to Lai Thai. Flavor preference is a factor, as there is only one option. But oh boy, is it a good one. 5 out of 5 stars on all levels you can rate a wing. First we have the chicken to breading ratio which is CONSISTENTLY on point. Meaty wings with a perfect amount of breading to coat. Next is the juiciness and tender texture. Finally, delicious sauce flavor and toppings. Lai Thai wings with the sweet red and green peppers, sweet Thai basil and cashews on top is chef’s kiss perfection. Consistency is the key word here. This menu item has not changed since we started ordering.

Other menu items are equally consistent and delicious. Our go to items include Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao for entrees, potato curry puffs and a couple of delightful Thai iced teas.

The ONLY, small, minuscule reason my review is not currently 5 stars is because Lai Thai will consistently omit or mistake something in our order (thankfully never the wings). IMPORTANT TO NOTE we have never called them back or made return trips to rectify. I am sure given the opportunity they would immediately make it right however we typically power through it, never delaying our quest to satisfy our hunger. Employees I’ve dealt with there are super friendly so I’m sure it would not be an issue if we were to ever bring it up.

I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu. The tofu could have used a little marinating before cooking but the flavor of the drunken noodles was dynamite with just a hint of spice! I also ordered the crabmeat fried rice...I was a little skeptical about this order as I don't like a lot of seafood but the flavor was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the calamari which was enjoyable as well. I appreciated the well plated presentationof the dishes.

The servers were very pleasant and accommodating as well as attentive! I will definitely be back!

The bathroom was very clean. I gave this 4 stars only because the tile ceiling in the dining area had stained tiles right in the middle of the serving area... Something that I would prefer not to have right where I'm eating. This may not even be there fault if they are renting the spot... But this is an easy fix. Otherwise I would have given...

Food is pricey, quality and taste is average but horrible service! If there was anything below one star for the service I would give that. I had a pick up order but my toddler who was hungry insisted he wanted to eat there. I had picked him straight from pre-school and gone to the restaurant. So I asked if we could get a table, the owner told me I that I could sit but I need to tip. Having worked in a fast food place myself I'm never cheap with tips..and ofcourse I would tip any ways. I was going to order an appetizer for myself and until my son finished his noodles which were in a to-go box..I sat down for the love of my son feeling insulted. Yes I'm upset about being told about the tip even before I could get a table but the review about the food quality and taste holds true. I'm sure she would not have made that comment if it was a white person asking for a table instead of...
