Worst experience ever. Ordered sushi last night. Lady on phone told my fiance it'll be there in 45 minutes, which would have been 10:00. The driver got there within 18 minutes. She and I had both told the lady on the phone to NOT be there until 10:00, but the driver got there early anyway. So, the guy came to the door and got upset that I wasn't home with the cash yet, even though it was clearly their communication error. He told my fiance, "Give me your phone", and feeling scared, she handed her phone over. First off, what professional company would take the customer's cell phone? Then, he proceeded to talk in Chinese or Japanese to the lady on the phone, rudely, using my fiance's phone. My fiance told him to come back at 10:00, but then he kept ringing the bell at 9:56. We told him repeatedly that I will NOT be home until 10. My fiance is disabled and could not even answer the door at that point, yet he rung repeatedly. So, anyway, I went to give him the cash, and I tipped him $1 because he was so rude. Normally I tip a lot more than that. He said, "$1 tip? I waited for 20 min." Yeah, you waited but that was your fault because I told you to be here at 10, not 9:30. He was greedy. Because guess what, THEY CHARGE YOU A $2 DELIVERY FEE. How much do you want for delivering food?? We paid you the $3 total and you were rude as hell. I will never deal with such a company again. Rude people should not get business. I was a steady customer too. Their food was decent, except last night I found a hair in it with an Asian noodle stuck in the center of the sushi, which means they are not clean. How a noodle gets inside the sushi and a hair in the ginger is beyond me. So even if they weren't rude, I wouldn't have been going back there anyway. This is your warning. The lady who answers the phone has communication issues. She forgot to relay the msg to the driver (who she said is also the owner) and then they turned it around like it was our fault.

However, when I ordered almost $65 worth of sushi through the Door Dash app, we had expected that it would be worth the price. When we received the food it had an odd smell and taste from the lobster and shrimp as well as a rotten odor from the soy sauce. Being that we couldn’t even stomach the smell we had tossed it in our garbage bin outside. Being that we were dissatisfied I opted to call the restuarant and explain why we were so upset; I stated that this was the first issue we had with this restuarant and my politeness was met with a disgruntled and disrespectful tone. I was told (via what I believe to be the manager) that he would send a driver back to pick up the food to receive a refund. I had explained that we had tossed it out and it was then insinuated I would need to “go in the garbage I don’t care”. I work in the food industry, I rarely go out of my way to leave bad reviews. Read moreI have ordered from this Chinese-owned Sushi restaurant several times only because they are fast, cheap, and very conveniently located. However, the quality of sushi is below average. Their default is rice on the outside, and the rolls are so poorly rolled that they mostly fall apart as you try to pick them up to eat. The wasabi is a weird green, looks heavily artificially colored. If you ask for any extra condiments, you are charged extra. The most annoying part of the pick up is the owner lady, who insists you pay by cash, instead of credit card. She reminds you on the phone when placing the order, and then again when you go to pick it up. "Pay cash and get 10% discount". And, she's not happy when you pay by card. I understand she wants to run a mostly cash business to evade taxes, but I don't need to be reminded of your little scheme again and again. Stay on her good side, or she can be really nasty and rude.
