Updated 2/26/23 - I'm not too sure what to think about the last time I ordered from this particular restaurant. Apparently, "Curbside Pickup" still means you have to go inside to get your order. I learned that the hard way of watching three cars park, go in, and return with their meals. After 20 minutes, I go in. My order had been sitting on a shelf. The young lady reached in, grabbed my fries, tossed them into the trash, and replaced them with fresher ones. The burger was warm only due to the apple pie. It's a good thing I wasn't having a medical emergency of low blood sugar or anything. Luckily I don't believe in wasting food, but I got the message loud and clear....
The survey and contact request has yet to be returned, so I'm not expecting it. I will definitely drive to Hewitt or Valley Mills locations from now on. I adored the manager on duty the first time I ordered Curbside and the runner brought out the wrong order. She was working through the rush and was frazzled, but she had spirit, passion, desire, drive. I understand mistakes in those instances; they are a part of the learnjng experince. But this? Not caring about their jobs....?? Dually noted.
Original comment - Hit and miss on timeliness and order accuracy the last few years. My last visit was faster than normal; but of course, in trying to get home, I did not check my order (burger, fries, drink, and fried pie, so it wasn't complicated), and of course I did not get my fried pie. Make sure you check your orders before you leave or expect a wait when trying to go through the...
Read moreFirst experience with this Whataburger on highway 6. I had entered through the drivethru along with another car. The car in front of me had seemed to be waiting a fair amount of time for their food and I was attempting to be considerate in thinking she had ordered quite a lot of food for the amount of time we had been waiting in line. When she received her food it was one bag. I started getting worried that this place wasn't very good at the job they're working for. When I finally got up to the line after waiting about 20 minutes I had my order ready. The man over the intercom was very sporadic and interrupted me alot. I ordered 3 meals for me and the passengers in my vehicle. When we received our food all meals but mine were wrong. My two friends meals look like they had been squished in a press and we're soggy and so were their and mines fries. I paid for my friends #2 double meat Whataburger and only got one patty and a huge amount of ketchup splattered on it. It was missing everything besides the bun and meat. My others friends had voiced his concerns that the vegatbles on his #1 Whataburger tasted spoiled and old. It was a very unpleasant experience and I won't be coming back to this...
Read moreStay away from this location (store #357 in Waco at 84 & Loop 340), unless you have about an hour to wait.
I love WB and go about once a week. I have family that lives close to this location, so we have visited this store 3 times. Going off of my 3 experiences, this store consistantly delivers slow service. Maybe it's equipment limitations - who knows- they DO have a small kitchen.
My latest visit, I went through drive-thru and ordered a #2 meal (double meat) with grilled onions and grilled jalapenos. 45 min later, I received no jalapenos, but more importantly one patty, so I went back in to get it corrected. Counter staff was friendly...2nd try - 2 meat, no jalapenos...3rd try, 2 meat, and jalapenos, but dry (no mayo or mustard as per the printed order). I just asked for mustard and mayo and did it myself.
While waiting, I discovered I was not the only one having problems. One guy that got home discovered he was shorted one of his burgers....another guy had been waiting close to 1 hour.
I took online survey and also wrote to corporate on this one - no response.
I'll still keep going to WB, just not...
