Mitch was decent server. He was great with introduction, initial response and attitude. He would really excel with just a few service tips from a 20 year customer service specialist. Here is the most crucial things He missed:
Beverage watch: Beer, or unlimited drinks need to be addressed before nearing or reaching the empty mark. A simple "would you care for another beer?" When the glass is low is ok. A better tactic when glass dips below 40% full "would you like me to grab another __ (insert beer name) for you?" If the answer is yes, great you made another add on sale, if the reply is a no you roll it into a psychological nicety by saying " ok, if you change your mind let know I will be happy to get one for you" Unlimited refill drinks should be brought automatic without conversation if the drink is below 25%... if the customer is nearing the end of service it is ok to ask if they would like another refill. (Don't automatically bring a new drink if the customer is about to leave, you must use common sense) Mitch didn't bring any refill or ask about beer, but it's OK I'm almost sure we would have refused anyway.
Last, but most important tip to increase server tip by 2%-3% on average across the board. (Over ten years of math went into this along with countless tables, shadowing servers and tons of experiences) It's a two part structure
2)After your presence has been known say these words in any order that is comfortable to you or the situation : "You guys enjoy your meal. If there is anything else I can do for you, lete know, I will be happy to help." Once you receive a thank you or a head nod or any sign that they received this message you have competed this step.
Mitch dropped the ball on this, but most servers have never been trained correctly for the job!
Items missed: No cutlery. No napkins. No side plates. (No menu given, but I didn't strike him for that since it's an establishment policy and doesn't really reflect on service, unless there are menus present, i was given nothing to peak my interest.) Service near middle and end was a bit lacking, but overall still better than average.
Food was tasty, it was seasoned correctly and served without error in a timely fashion. Will visit...
Read moreMy sister and I came in Thursday night because my sister loves the hamburgers. The waitress came took our orders which was fine. Some guy brought our food out and I had ordered a hamburger with coleslaw and got fries instead so that was wrong and my sister wanted a side of ranch dressing for her fries instead which we didn’t get until the waitress finally came back around mid way through the meal. The fries were cold and like we must have got the bottom of the bag because the all the fries were like an inch long. So I am eating my burger and I see something so looking a little harder I have a hair that runs through my burger so it was cooked in it. I was absolutely grossed out and in seeing this my sister couldn’t finish her meal. So I ask a waitress to get our waitress so I can show her. When she does come over and I show her she acted like it was not a big deal. Oh I’m sorry would you like another hamburger and I’m like no because I have just been grossed out. So we ask for our bill and it’s 29.00 and some change. Yes they took my meal off but still charged for the pop and they charged for the ranch dressing in which we didn’t even get until the middle of the meal. So I was very disappointed with the whole meal and I have been there many times and no problems. I don’t think we should have been charged for anything especially my pop and the ranch dressing. The waitress was horrible so came around 3 times and that was it plus was not even concerned about the hair in my burger. I understand you need to make money but to charge 30.00 for one meal that wasn’t even finished because of the hair is absolutely disgusting. The waitress was awful and instead of standing up at the bar could have checked on us a few more times and maybe we would have got the ranch dressing at the beginning of the meal instead of the middle of it. The whole time was just awful. Yes we could have got up and got our waitress but we shouldn’t have to. The whole experience was very disappointing and unfortunately we will...
Read morePhenomenal from start to finish. I hosted a private (surprise) party here this last Friday for my boyfriend's 30th. Not only was every need met, it was exceeded. Alex the GM was helpful right off the bat; clear communication via phone & email about all my questions & concerns while planning. He helped me put together a menu for around 50 people within my budget, offered suggestions and helpful pairs. We were also allowed to come hours before the party to fully decorate the room which was big because I had to sneak over since it was a surprise. While decorating too they let me move around some of their stuff to accommodate the decor we bought. I was a nervous wreck prepping but they let me nit-pick everything lol!! They also were able to refrigerate the giant cake we brought. Food was DELICIOUS, literally all my guests raved about it to me. Our menu was: Italian & brisket sliders, buffalo dip with chips & veggies, charcuterie tower, cheese curds, salad. I literally don't have a single complaint, all was above & beyond my expectations. Ate it for dinner the next couple nights cause we had so many leftovers! Finally, the servers that we had for the party (forgive me I didn't catch their names but hopefully they receive recognition) were amazing. The birthday boy got special attention the whole night, no one was searching for them at all. One of the girls told me how she used to work for a catering company, she boxed up all the leftover food for everyone and was passing out boxes to people! I mean cmon that's just extra care. They even cleaned up the decor for us!!!! 10/10, will absolutely throw another event here & recommend this location to anyone looking to throw an event for...
