I've tried most of the chinese buffets in the greater Akron area, and this unassuming small one in a strip mall off the highway so far has taken the number one spot, by a long shot. Highlights: The food was fresh, hot and well prepared. The cleanliness and organization was a big step above most of the other buffets. The hibachi station, of particular note, had its ingredients in a closable refrigerated area that kept everything fresh and temperature-safe (see pictures for reference). The sauce offerings plus extra seasonings available allowed for a delightful variety in flavor profiles. The dumplings were absolutely excellent - plump with just a bit of doughiness that's lacking from so many others in NE Ohio, and not over-fried. The ice cream station was clean and organized - a very welcome change from other buffets - with nice offerings. While I don't normally go to a buffet for soup, I was curious and tried a few bites of their Hot and Sour soup for evaluation purposes, and it was not only good for a buffet, but better than that offered by some counter-serve restaurants. The Crab Rangoon were delightful, prepared in the pouch style and my kids enjoyed the honey chicken, one of several different "sugar chicken" options. My youngest was thrilled that there was plain white rice rather than just fried rice. The sushi was excellent - while the selection was small, what was there was visually appealing and delicious, especially the volcano roll that my oldest loved despite not being a fan of most sushi. Lowlights: The General Tsos was as mediocre as most buffets offer - I suspect batch deep fried from frozen and just dropped in sauce, or however it is that most buffets seem to do it that can't compare to counter-serve restaurants. The Lo-Mein was strictly okay - not nearly as bad as some buffets, but it didn't stand out and was a bit on the thick side, not quite as thick as Udon noodles, but a peculiar type. Other things of note: The price point was excellent, less expensive than several, plus they didn't try to charge my 9 year old as an adult like a certain other place does. Mens room looked clean at a glance, though I did not use it. Service was attentive and pleasant. This will definitely be my new standard for a quality chinese buffet.

Great family place. Think dinner price might be to much just because its a lounging experience. No fancy clothes needed. Now I think about it maybe the waitresses should get $2 of each buffet purchased! Considering what they have to do & are very well at keeping up with the tables. For a older place it has a clean vibe. The sushi is on point & fresh. Guys are working hard to keep it going & fresh. Some of the food seems a tad over done. Wish there was fresh veggies like broccoli etc bts steamed. Missing the rice noodles. A Hibachi Grill would definitely suit this place and make it go to the next level really think they ought to invest in a Hibachi Grill and all the foods to prepare on the spot . Fresh Hibachi that would send this place with reviews Dorado this world as long as they have a great cook and I believe the sushi guys can handle that tall order

I travel From Atlanta to Akron a couple times a year on business and have eaten all over the SE US. This is the first place to impress me enough to review. I will note that I went in right at 11 when they opened, so everything was fresh. Ymmv. That all said, the food is great. On par with many sit and order places I have had and on a whole different level for Chinese buffets. The grilled chicken in particular was fantastic and the Mei fun was really good. If I had a critique it would be that the general tso was ketchupy. But that was the only dish to be disappointing on a decently sized buffet. I didn't try the sushi or hibachi but you can bet I will on my next visit!

Nothing tasted right. Almost everything selected was set to the edge of the table to throw away.

My daughter got sick before we even paid. I've been sick all day today... We wonder if it was the crab. The only same things we ate was crab and white rice.

We do not plan to return. The cashier was ignoring me as I told her that my daughter was sick from the food, she hastily stuffed money into the register. I called the manager from the parking lot, he refunded our money 100%.

Nobody said they were sorry, ECT. Rude. Bad food, possible spoiled. Issue seemingly ignored, not even asked what she ate! It's all about the money not the customer.

I don't know what the different story was from the staff, according to the owner's harsh comments in response to this review; which I told him I was going to write.

Our drinks were silently refilled ONCE and we were left alone. our table was bussed while we were up searching for edible food. I threw away more food than I ate. The sushi tasted like it came out of the bottom of a minnow bucket, the habachi wasn't opened... Food wasn't very hot. Most steam tables were almost empty. There was food I wouldn't touch because it looked old. We left hungry and sick with,"Tummy trouble"; this time it wasn't me.

I guess we'll see what the health dept has to say. After reading the other reviews on this place, others also said they got sick, the food wasn't hot, and it tasted bad. I called the county health department to go inspect.

I only tell the truth in my reviews. I give honest feed back. I don't want to mislead anyone who reads my reviews. Nobody pays me to write...

Food was poor. Ordered sweet and sour chicken combo, sesame chicken combo, and a Hong Kong roll.

S&s chicken wasn't bad, was without any peppers or pineapple though, so it's hard to mess up tempura chicken and some sauce out of a bucket on the side sans being basic.

Sesame chicken was clearly pulled out of the buffet bin and not made to order as there were very obviously older bits of chicken and newer ones intermixed, giving varying levels of sogginess and chewiness. There was absolutely nothing fried about the fried rice, just a yellow rice with a small handful of mixed veggies thrown in and steamed. Absolutely no sauce cooked onto it, not even soy. The Hong Kong roll was a soggy mess, the rice indistinguishable from the tempura breading or the cream cheese. It all had the same soggy texture.

It was cheap, which was nice and I had lower expectations due to the price, but some of this meal was...
