Flying Biscuit Cafe — Restaurant in Wake Forest

I have been to flying biscuit in raleigh multiple times and have loved it. It is my birthday today so I figured we could go to a different location and have the same menu, options, etc (silly me) their phone line is not even connected for me to call ahead and put our names in line (something every other location does) the menu is half the size, the atmosphere is just not the same vibe and there’s no alcoholic drinks (one of their biggest features at other locations is the drink menu), the food is no where NEAR the same, ran out of breakfast potato’s (fine) but no one told us, would likely get a different dish if that was the case, everything seemed smaller. People were pissed off when we got here saying they’re lying about waits and won’t do outdoor service (weather is fine and they look perfectly staffed) but when we came back for our table suddenly the patio was open. No wonder the wait is an hour 40 minutes the staff is laughing and talking in the corner. At this point open a restaurant with a different name and menu cause this is NOT a flying biscuit, they’re just trying to capitalize off of their name and moon dusted potato’s. 3 hours of my birthday wasted for it to be nothing like our other experiences. This was our first time going to this restaurant today in wake Forest. I ordered food and apple juice. Chicken and waffles were never served. The cup the apple juice was in had someone else lip print on it with lipstick. The waiter Madison didn't come back to check on us. Another waiter asked if everything was okay. Told her I had not received my food yet. She said okay I'll check on it. Still it was never served. Told her there was lipstick on the cup with apple juice and a lip print. She said there must have been an issue with the washer. She asked if I had got the chicken and waffles. I told her it never came. She said sorry she wasn't sure if it was added to my order. She asked who my waiter was. I told her Madison. Said she will let her know what happened. She said sorry service was terrible today....I was extremely disappointed. The lack of service from the waiter to not come back and check on us. If she would have even came to see if we needed a refill she would have been made aware of the issues. The waiter who came over but she wasnt able to get my order out to me as well. The unsanitary dishes used for drinks. KITCHEN NIGHTMARE please? New location is a disaster. Waited over an hour to sit down, when we were told only 30 mins. Tables were not measured correctly, so we had to sit on the edge to even reach the table. Server didn’t see us for at least 15 mins after being seated. Didn’t bother to offer us any straws. Finally got drinks after another 10 mins. Only half of us did, had to wait another 20 for the other drinks (orange juice and a chai latte). When the food finally came out, everything was messed up. Eggs missing cheese, sides mixed up, cold food, tasteless & season-less. In a party of 6, some didn’t even get their plates till we were ready to leave. The waiter said he would ‘try to bring us something’, did not even remember our order. Horrible service, manager offered to waive our check, she was really non-empathetic, nor compassionate about her job. She rushed us out, I watched her argue with another customer over kitchen mistakes. Just stay away! Go to another reputable breakfast place, their Raleigh location is great. WF needs rehab ASAP.
