Order take out from here last night on my way home after shopping in the area. I ordered chicken and shrimp hibachi. The rice was slightly burnt and the meats overcooked. But I'm not even concerned about that. I'm concerned about finding what appeared to look like a small spider in my rice. I was only a few bites into my food thank goodness but it was definitely not broccoli. Now yes I was upset and immediately called the restaurant and left a message but I suppose they were gone for the evening due to it was right after closing. However I got no return call in the morning or afternoon and ended up calling myself in which the manager in my opinion rudely blew me off when I addressed my issue. Pretty much offered excuses and no solutions. Eventually told me to bring the food back and that's the only way he'll give my money back. I live 1 hr away. I was passing through and further more who's gonna keep food that long til I'm able to get back up that way again. I told him I had my receipt and pictures of the food and spider. He pretty much hung up on me at that point. I will never eat here again and I can't advise anyone else either. I know things happen and a small insect can get into a bag of rice that's common sense. Or could have crawled on my plate who knows. I wasn't making issue with that fact. My issue is with the lack of customer service I was offered. Whether you're a new business or old business, your doors only stay open long term if you know how to treat...
Read moreDO NOT EVER GO HERE. If i could give them 0 stars i definitely would. During Corona i really wanted hibachi food and the typical restaurant i go to (New Tokyo) was closed. Being pregnant, i really needed hibachi so decided to try this new place. I ordered hibachi and my boyfriend ordered soba noodles. Not only was the portion size ridiculous for the price but it was not good. After getting a few fork fulls through, i noticed a short black hair in my plate. Being that i am the only one who handled the plate when we got home and i have very long brown hair, it was not mine. Called the restaurant immediately and told them what happened, they initially offered to replace the order the following day, but we told them we would not be returning to eat so they offered a refund for the entire meal we just needed to run by their store when we got a chance. AND YES I HAVE PICTURES!!! 4 days later, we return to the store for the refund and we had to spend 20 minutes arguing with the man at the front who refused to even hear what we had to say. We were finally given the manager (who we asked for when we got there) and he said the only thing he could do was refund us the amount for one plate of food. Even though they had already agreed to give us a refund for our entire order. Long story short, don’t waste your time. It’s not worth it, they are rude, uncooperative and offer a disappointing product. I would suggest New Tokyo when they...
Read moreI don't understand how some restaurants in 2025 don't have a menu posted online. This is yet another company that relies on Grubhub and Seamless for their menu and for ordering. Grubhub orders (even for pickup) will be $2-3 more expensive per item, just for using their website. Those charges should be the burden of the restaurant, not the customer.
So I can't find a menu online, their places.singleplatform.com site has only a few random items listed. It doesn't even show hibachi items... and the name of the place is HIBACHI EXPRESS.
Please post a current menu with current prices. Those prices should reflect the same price a person who walks in would pay, not some inflated number based on Grubhub's arbitrary...
