Dunkin' — Restaurant in Wakefield

I'm also basing my review on customer service, or lack there of. I pulled into the drive through at 5:30 on a Friday night. There was one car ahead of me in line. I waited for more than five minutes. The woman in front of me apparently knew the girl working at the window. Unfortunately, there is no way to just go around someone at this location if you want to leave. When I finally pulled up to the window the girl just looked at me with the stupid expression on her face. I went to place my order and then asked if the girl in front of us understand the concept of a drive-through. I was kind of just joking around about it. She just looked at me. I placed my order and she rang me up and asked for my money. When I handed her my 20, she snatched it out of my hands. She then said, explain to me the concept of a drive-through then. I told her to just give me my money back and I drove away. There is no reason to have an attitude like that at a location. It's Dunkin' Donuts, you can be replaced and a heartbeat if you aren't a good employee. If I had someone like that working my window, they would be without a job very quickly. I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had such a bizarre and inappropriate experience at this Dunkin’ that I have to say something. This location doesn’t have a speaker for drive-thru orders, so you have to place your order face-to-face at the window. When I pulled up, the employee didn’t greet me — I said hello first and then waited about 30 seconds to place my order while she explained she was “taking her shoes off to be more comfortable.”

After I ordered, she commented on my pimple patches, saying I should “invest in skin-colored ones or put makeup over them.” I told her I wasn’t planning on leaving the house today except to get my coffee. I was stunned — who says such an unnecessary and personal remark like that to a customer?

To top it all off, she herself was wearing a BREATHE RIGHT STRIP on her nose — which made the unsolicited skincare advice even more ironic. I left annoyed and honestly just pissed off. I wasn’t asking for commentary on my appearance. I just wanted a coffee.

This is by far the worst Dunkin location I have ever been to, and I've been to a lot. There was a huge line for the drive thru, so I went inside to order. There were about 3 people in front of me and it was chaos behind the counter. The man who I assume was the manager was extremely rude to the other workers, and yelled at one of them to use a different machine for something and the poor kid responded that he didn't know how to use it. Everyone seemed frazzled, customers were leaving and the behavior of the manager to the people working there was just disgraceful. I finally just left with my water even though I paid for a bagel too because I didn't feel like waiting 15 more minutes (after waiting 20 minutes already) and watching more of...
