We just got back from a trip to Ireland & wanted more! Stopped in for the first time. The food was amazing, and I am still thinking about the Irish Whisky Gravy Chicken. Husband got the Fish n Chips, also good.
We ordered the tenders as an app & they were nice and juicy, yet properly crisped. The hot honey sauce we ordered actually seemed more like Buffalo & unfortunately came with a blue cheese pairing. I wish we were given an option for ranch or to save sauce/a ramekin since (understandably) extra sauce is an extra cost.
It took a long time to get our meal order in, the nice waitstaff had a lot of tables & while they stopped for a few seconds to get us another round of drinks, they turned away before we could even ask one word to put in food. So we weren't about to wait for a potential sauce switch. I've been in the service industry & mentioned we may have gotten someone else's, JIC, but were told the hot honey sauce is very similar. For those who are also curious, tastes like Buffalo with some sweetener & could easily be fooled! I do hope they can have even just 1 more support staff for when there's a rush- just to help when needed. We were pretty hungry and excited about all the menu options.
The atmosphere gets low stars from me & is the reason for -1 overall star. I'm tempted to do -2 because it was so invasive to our experience. The music was so loud, it was as if the place turned into a nightclub after dinner service. We were next to an extremely boisterous table with 2 adults, clearly trying to compete with the music & it made it impossible for us to have a conversation of our own. This place is not friendly for all people with disabilities & not inclusive for people who are hard of hearing or D/deaf. Luckily one of us has full hearing.
I look forward to trying this place again, do hope it is quieter. Even the waitress was complaining to a table nearby that the music was too loud. Maybe it's more tame at lunch. There's lots of dishes on the menu we hope to try, there's a great selection. If it's not lunch time, then we'll aim for takeout. Sure is something if a young adult says it's too loud 🤣
Could be biased since we had just come from Ireland but the Guinness tasted different here- more dark, roasted, almost with a thicker coffee flavor. Had to switch to something else personally. Gotta hurry & try more Guinness elsewhere- maybe we're not getting the same quality...

This event was wonderful and all our guest loved Harrington's functions room on the 2nd floor. It was perfect for our group size. The room was very pleasant and decor was very inviting. Linen table clothes, napkins, silverware, and electric candles on tables. Seating and chairs were comfortable. Bar and service area was clean and well organized. The bathroom facilities were clean, fresh, and comfortable. The bottom line from our guests was: "This place is really nice!.
We had two event servers/bar tenders (Meg and Heidi) that worked as team and were responsible for servicing the event. These servers were great- Bar service and drinks were great. We had appetizers and buffet diner and these 2 folks were responsible for ensuring managing food presentation, set-up, delivery, and availability. They were amazing in providing continuing service to our party. When buffet trays needed to be replenished , they ensured that food was fresh and hot (an example of this was when they replenished a tray of mixed fresh vegetables, the vegetables were still hot and steaming and I had to wait a few minutes before eating them!)
I am TOTALLY pleased with the the food for our Buffet Dinner. For appetizers we ordered Hummus and Taboule with Tortilla Chips (very good), Bacon, Swiss, and Carmelized Onion Crostini, Roasted Tomatioes and Ricotto Crostini. EVERYONE loved these!
For Buffet Options we ordered- Caesar Salad (Fresh, good flavor) Irish Whiskey Chicken (Very good and loved by all guests. Cream sauce was great) Sliced Sirloin Steak ( Perfect, fresh, not dry, and with nice gravy) Mashed Potatoes (Real mashed potatoes, great flavor) Fettuccini with Vodka and Tomato Cream Sauce. ( Very Nice)
I will be highly recommending Harrington's to my friends. It is a very nice and intimate...
Read moreOur first visit to Harrington's Pub and my first Yelp review ever. Unfortunately neither are positive. We were seated immediately only to wait 15 minutes to be noticed by the waitress and another 15 minutes to receive our drinks. We were told they no longer offer the tuna melt due to lack of interest but the waitress admitted we were the 3rd party to request it from her that evening. If tuna is on the menu, how hard is it to have a can on the shelf. Only takes a couple of minutes to make. I ordered the bourbon steak tips with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. When my dinner arrived I was informed that they ran out of mixed veggies and they took the liberty of giving me two forms of potatoes instead ,mashed and sweet. I guess it would be too much work to ask the customer what they would like to replace the veggies with perhaps slaw or salad. In other words you will take what we give you. And who runs out of veggies at 7 pm on a Saturday night. My beer was delivered in a can, no glass. My wife's second glass of wine was again another long wait only to be delivered by the manager. As we were waiting to pay our check to leave the waitress arrives with a glass of wine apologizing and not aware it had already been...
