It's a long story. My two son's and I had been at a different restaurant but there was a 30 minute wait so I decided to join the waitlist at Cracker Barrel and go there instead since the website showed there was only a 15 minute wait.....this was at 2:56. We get there maybe 5 minutes later and I check in with the hostess, which took forever, because after she would seat someone it took her several minutes to return back to the hostess stand and there were 3 families in front of me. Finally I was checked in and at 3:30 we got the text saying our table was ready. When we walked in, the hostess again was nowhere to be found and when she came back she said they were cleaning off our table. By now my two young sons and I are starving. We were seated and we waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, that's when I asked someone to get my waiter. A young guy walks over shortly after and takes our orders (we did drinks and food all at once) to speed up the process. Well that didn't help at all. After 45 minutes we still hadn't gotten our food but when I saw a table that had just walked in 15 minutes before, get their food, I asked to speak to a manager. In the meantime, there were about 4 tables that got their food ahead of us, and the waiter said our food was ready but the pancakes were not, and we waited longer because we ordered breakfast. I WAS HOT. The manager came and said the kitchens orders got mixed up but she didn't seem to really care. I was saying how hungry my boys are and how ridiculous it was that it had taken over an hour for our food, and that's when she offered to take money off the bill. Our food arrived and it was decent but we had waited so long I didn't even finish it. I guess the coffee I was drinking filled me up. In the end, she never took anything off the bill but I didn't complain, I just paid and left. This was the worst service I've ever received at...

On June 25 at about 7pm my wife and I went into the Cracker Barrel to get something to eat, they told us that the waiting time was about 25 minutes so we decided to wait, after the wait we got called in once seated they gave us our menu and stated that our waiter would be attending us shortly. After 5 minutes our waiter had not come to our table and noticed that the customers that were outside waiting came in had been seated and there waiter was already at there table getting there drinks while we were still waiting. 10 additional minutes had passed there was a family of six that came in to be seated and were being attended to now there was a order station behind us where a waiter came by twice to put in orders and did not even ask us if we were attended to, at this point my wife were was upset that customers that arrived after us were getting there orders and still not one waiter attended to us. As we got up to leave a waiter saw us getting up to leave and that's when she asked us if our waiter came to take our order by this time it was to late and we did wanted to go. 2 hours later I called to speak to the manager about our experience when they answered the phone I requested to speak to the manager which they stated that they had 2 working one by the name of Tony, they put me on hold and shockingly I was on the phone waiting for can you believe it 15 minutes so I hung up and called again and when they answered they put me on hold again then 3 minutes later they picked up the phone and told me neither one of the managers were able to come to the phone because they were busy, at this point vented my grievance about what had happened and that I will never eat a another Cracker Barrel...

Stopped in a Cracker Barrel store # 687 at 3457 Crain Highway Waldorf MD, for Breakfast and Brunch July 8th and the 9th,2023 and had a great meal. beginning with the hostess GiselleS. We had an Amazing experience . The staff does an amazing job , our waiter was a young lady name Alyssa for our breakfast meal and the next day Adrian a young male waiter for brunch they both provided excellent , professional customer service, very courteous, respectful. They went over and above to make sure we were satisfied. I can’t say enough about these two young people The food was delicious all the waiters and waitresses are very attentive, professional and super nice atmosphere, what got my complete attention was the manager, Tatiana J., again she exemplified extraordinary, excellent, professional leadership and managerial, over and beyond customer service to each customer, I have not seen this type of quality customer service at any of the Cracker Barrels, since I have been eating at them beginning in the 90s’. This type of manger that exemplify this type of leadership should be promoted to a General manger, so other all the managers exemplify this type of character at all Cracker Barrels, I also met the General manger , Ian B. on duty and he exemplified the same excellent, courteous, warm professional people friendly character as his staff, which isn’t a surprise, myself and my husband was traveling back to Charlotte NC . We are glad, that we stopped there , this will always be our favorite place to stop and eat whenever we are in that area .
I can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again. I give 5...

My boyfriend and I decided to visit this establishment on Saturday 2/8/25. Mind you, this was not our first option because we had no desire to support Cracker Barrel anymore after they turned away those kids. However, we decided to go for breakfast because another place that we visited was too crowded. The wait was 15 minutes, no problem. We got seated and it took forever for our server to greet us. We found out he was new because when we asked questions, he kept saying “I would have to ask someone about that” and he also told us that he has only been working there for two weeks. We order biscuits & gravy to hold us until our food arrived. We have been out all morning running errands and were hungry. But this is my issue. I do NOT eat beef OR pork. NOWHERE on the menu does it say that the gravy that they serve contains beef/pork. It’s gravy.. why would I think that pork would be in it? I tasted the gravy and could instantly taste the meat in it. I asked him if it had pork in it and he said that he would have to check. He came back and confirmed that the gravy does contain pork. I instantly got upset because for someone who has not eaten pork in YEARS, I can get sick from consuming that in any way. I notified a manager of our experience and she was accommodating but I did not appreciate how she told me “Everyone knows that our gravy has some type of meat in it”. What if this was my first time visiting? What about other people who have never visited Cracker Barrel and have the same food restrictions? Their service absolutely sucks and I will never visit again. I am adding a picture of the gravy so other people can be aware.

After three days I decided to write a review. I have ponder what to say. By far one of the worse experience. I had only been to cracker barrel for breakfast in the past. Once arriving we were seated right away. It took about 15 minutes before the waiter came to the table. I address the waiter appearance with him. His hair was covering his eyes and you could not see them. He said no one had said anything to him about it. My concern was that hair would be in our food.... we ordered dinner. My mother wanted water with lemon on the side. He brought water to the table with 🍋lemons in it. After waiting for another 25 minutes. I called the manager to find out where our food was. During that 40 minutes time frame we watch people get seated after us and get served. Thats reason why I called the manager. She apologized for the wait and checked on our food. I also addressed the waiters hair with her. She did seem concern or said she would address it. The food arrived about 5 minutes later. My mothers sweet potato was supposed to be loaded. When telling the manager she stated she could bring her some pecans to put on them. LOL. The meal was okay after receiving it. This whole experience was horrible and the restaurant was not full. The manager did opt to take half off our bill. This was not a great experience for my mother and me. I highly encourage everyone to think twice before spending your money here

My family and I have been going to Cracker Barrel’s for decades up and down the i95. However, we’ve been coming to this particular restaurant for as long as they’ve been opened. I’m not sure what happened to the old cooks or if all Cracker Barrel’s have changed their style of cooking but I have added a picture of the sad version of my Momma’s French Toast breakfast that was ordered this past Saturday (7/29/23). If you know how small the warm syrup bottles are then you can be the judge on the size of these things. I felt ripped off looking down at how small these French toasts were. I even asked the waiter why they looked pathetic and his response was he just came back from vacation and a lot of weird things have been going on around here he couldn’t explain. We got a laugh and a giggle and extra napkins from him. To make matters worse, it tasted like fried smooshed butter bread then anything else. Don’t let me explain what my kids pancakes looked like and they ordered a Grandma’s Pancake meal not a kids meal. The pancakes were disappointing as well. Oh the food took FOREVER to come out and it wasn’t even busy! So many tables were available, we felt bad for the older ladies next to us as they waited even longer. Probably the last visit for us, at least for the foreseeable future.
