El Azteca Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Waldwick

Never even realized it was right down the block, so me and boy tried it tonight. AMAZING! I never really write reviews but it was that good! The Queso Dip was insane.....the chips made in house and dip was baked golden on top....AMAZING!! Our chicken burritos were the size of my leg and DELICIOUS! The poppers were packed with cheddar and really good! And the girl behind the counter could not be sweeter or more helpful. Oh yea....and you can eat your chimichangas off the FLOOR! The place is immaculate with a great atmosphere and big screen TV. We will be back to dine-in! And I can't wait to eat the other half of my burrito tomorrow! Feliz Navidad, El Azteca!! And Graciãs!!

Decided to dine in after reading some of the recent reviews. Was hoping to have some spicy moments because it makes a place fun. The staff was all very kind, attentive and accommodating, absolutely clean establishment with lots of options! The place isn’t big enough to possibly be ignored so i think rude comments must be personal issues. The a nachos were great! Huge portion. Also got a burrito cooked to perfection and tortilla soup. Fair prices and probably the most authentic Mexican food you can find in Bergen County. A must try!! Saw a lot of people stop by to get things to go for lunch. Also was pretty packed inside. Azteca never disappoints! The food is flavorful, portions are generous, and everything tastes freshly made. The staff is always friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which makes the whole experience even better. The salsa and chips come out right away (and they’re addicting), and the grilled chicken tacos are my go-to, they arrive perfectly cooked every time.
