This was, by far, the worst drive they experience I’ve had in a long time. I went through the drive through with my two daughters about an hour ago, they ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal and a 12 count nugget. After we paid for our order Ashley (the girl at the drive through window) handed us our bag. It had two ranch and two Chik Fil a sauces in it. I politely asked for four additional ranch, the girl asked another woman behind her and the other woman came over to the window two hand me two additional ranch and said “I only had to give you one, each entree only comes with one sauce.” I said that’s fine, but I still would like extra ranch, and offered to pay for it. She went and grabbed two extra ranch and proceeded to shove them in my hand, look me dead in my eyes, and walk away. I honestly was concerned for my safety. I asked the other girl (Ashley) if I could speak with a manager. She hesitated to even get someone. A manager eventually came over and I explained the situation to her. Her response was “sorry that happened, hopefully we do better next time. Is there any thing else you need””?” 😳 I have dealt with other local Chik Fil A’s over the years when they donate platters to our non-profit for community events and I have never been treated so crudely. Read moreOn Monday evening, I visited the Standale store after rushing home from work and collecting my two young kids. I had a 16' equipment trailer behind my truck with 6000 lbs of material, which meant I could not squeeze through a drive-thru. I waffled on what to do, and there was no available parking. So, I remote started the truck, ran inside, to which a very kind customer let me pass, and the cashier named Jim urgently took my order and, without hesitation said he would bring the food to the truck, so that I could quickly get back to the kids. I was probably in and out in 2 minutes. Just a few minutes later, Jim came out with the order, and spoke to me like a true human, and said hi to the kids. And when the chocolate milk was missing, he ran back inside and grabbed two bottles, with apologies.
Chick-fil-A is built on service, so, I wasn't shocked that this would be the one place where they'd go above and beyond, but even then, it left a memorable mark on me.
