It pains me to write this review as this is generally a great place to get pizza and the staff here is always friendly and provides great service.
However, I can’t believe this place is responsible for making the most lackluster subs I have ever tasted in my life.
Yesterday, I ordered a chicken parm and a cheesesteak sub for me and my girlfriend in a pickup order. We decided to share halves of each.
The chicken parm was completely uninspired. It was as if they slapped chicken on a sub roll with a little sauce and a minuscule amount of cheese. It was so thin and uninspiring.
Even worse was the cheesesteak sub. It was supposed to have mozzarella, mushrooms and peppers included, but one would never know. Here was another sub roll that they just carelessly slapped a thin amount of steak on, spreading only 3/4 of meat, with a 1/4 of the sub roll completely bare. They should call it a 3/4 cheesesteak sub.
Any decent sub place would generously fill their sub with meat and sauce, causing it to overflow from the bread with oozing melted cheese.
What we got instead was pitiful. And we paid between $12.50-$15.00 for each of these subs which was mostly bread. And though we got chips included with the subs, I would rather they leave them out and put that money into making a heartier sandwich.
I don’t know how a restaurant gets away with serving subs like these. I know times are tough, but I have never had subs so unsatisfying. I expected so much more from a restaurant that has done a great job with their pizzas.
This is the perfect example of why people are not eating out anymore. You used to get so much better value for your money.
I’ll never come here again for subs. One is much better off going to a sub shop that specializes in making quality subs, packed with meat and engulfed in melted cheese. You won’t...
Read moreI ordered a pizza and prior to hanging up I asked if I could get a “HOT” pizza. I was assured it would be hot and delivered in approx 45 mins.
I agreed and ordered the pie (Sausage, pepper & onion) which cost $33.50. 1 hour 30 mins later, I called back to ask where my pizza was. The employee told me they just left and I would be the first delivery (this would ensure my pie was hot)! Well - 25 mins. Later, the driver shows up and SURE ENOUGH, my Pizza was not even warm, it was cold and dry.
I immediately called the restaurant back and spoke to the same employee. She assured me she was the “manager”. I offer to bring the Pizza back to their restaurant to show her what was delivered in the name of Attilios Pizza.
After explaining my experience to her, she offered the following:
A credit toward my next order (Never going back) A new Pizza (I didn’t have another 2 hours) A full refund (I opted for this)
Fast Forward- I didn’t receive my credit, so I called the restaurant back multiple times and the employee keeps feeling me the “owner” will personally call me back “shortly”, and just like the Pizza I ordered it’s been over an hour and still no call.
I called the employee (name withheld) and she assures me, she “texted my number to the owner”
STILL NO CALL!!!
Stay away...
Read moreInconsistent. That is my best description of Attilio's. If you go there when it's busy you're more likely to not be happy with your order. When I make the mistake of getting pizza during "rush hours" that is exactly what you get, a rushed job. You're short changed on food that is delicious when they take the time to give your meal the attention you're paying for. This is a picture of a veggie pie I ordered at about 5:30 (dinner rush). As you can see, there are hardly any veggies on this supposedly veggie pie. This was $24.00!? Now, to some of you this might be alright, but once you have experienced Attilio's veggie pie during "off rush hours" you would realize what I mean. When you order a veggie pie at the right time you get a delightful pie with veggies piled high and evenly spread around the entire pie. Not blobs of cheese in one spot and a few scraps of vegetables slapped on the thing. I have experienced the same "rush job" situation having dinner, dining in. Off hours are the key to getting a good meal here. I do have to say that the catering is amazingly delicious, but watch out for a great disparity beteewn in the portions of items in your order. I guess it, again, boils down to consistency, or the...
