Surf Taco - Wall — Restaurant in Wall Township

Food was close to inedible...nachos soggy and lacking any flavor. Chicken Quesadilla had so much low quality greasy cheese they were on par with something id get at the the airport, my 7 year old can make a better one and found these “gross”. Chicken Fajitas were the only reason they get 1 star, but how tough is it to mess up fajitas. And how about those tacos...the namesake...out of 3 (carne asada/shrimp/Hawaiian) the shrimp was the only one that got finished. The Hawaiian had so much mayo mixed with bbq I had to dissect and only eat the fish, the carne asada was bland and chewy with a burnt soft shell. This is the first review, after 3 trips-where the food (quality and taste) seems to get worse with every order. Lastly, ordered on the app, user friendly...when i chose 630pm as a delivery time it said it was too close to the order time (about an hour) so changed to asap w/spec instructions to “back of residence”. Not only did the food come in about 30 mins early...but the just left it on the front porch with zero contact, no knock, call or text) after sitting there for at least 20 mins we realized it was just left on the front porch to get soggy and cold. How this place has multiple locations and decent reviews is incomprehensible. Will never order again. Be warned. There are much better options...

To my utter delight I recently discovered a place called Surf Taco in Wall township. I wanna start off by saying the staff was exceptional. They all had a very friendly and upbeat attitude. They were also very helpful in introducing me to a menu with a plethora of options. I decided to order the Baja surf Taco. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The pricing was great and it was all cooked in a very timely manner. It was an over all phenomenal experience. I would highly recommend this coastal cuisine to satisfy all of your taste buds. I am very excited and looking forward to my next trip to Surf Taco Wall. I Encourage everyone to try it. I promise you won't be...

I ordered a burrito that comes with a side of chips and when I looked they gave me a Handful of chips and when I was there Friday three days ago I got twice the size. I went back inside and asked is this a normal amount of chips ? He goes yes. I go really a handful ? He says yes sorry we have to cut back because of rise in food costs. Which Ok but I’m paying for this so I should be entitled to a actual side of chips. Also every time I go in this facility no one is at the counter and I have to wait 3 to 5 minutes before being helped.
