The first time I went here I was blown away. The food was amazing. I went back for three days in a row after that. Today, my husband and I were both at work, I had gotten called in very early this morning and could not make his lunch. Being that it was Friday, it was very very busy at both of our jobs by 530. He was texting me telling me he was starving so I went on the app for Broadway hot and Honey chicken because I know he loves that. So I tried to use the app to have it delivered to his job for some reason the money got taken out of my bank account and the order never went through and I was panicked stricken! I called Broadway hot and Honey chicken to see if they received the order and the kind girl on the other end of the phone said no they did not. She said hold on. She tried to help me but she put someone on the phone who could help me further. Mike! he was so accommodating calmed me down. he asked me what the order was. I told him and he made my husband‘s food and delivered it to his job himself. he told me that the transaction didn’t go through and if I could just send the money tomorrow or bring him the money tomorrow that would be fine. I text him a few more times after the fact. graciously thanked him, and he replied my husband got his food and this one’s on me! We have been wanting to stop in and tonight was the night! We just wanted a small meal/snack and to see how good the food was. We were definitely not disappointed! When you walk in, the is a self serve point of sale(POS) at the front that you can order from or the counter where an employee is willing to help. We chose the POS and found it was easy to navigate, order and pay at. We chose the boneless thighs with comeback and hornet nest sauces, a biscuit, cornbread and french fries. Once we were done ordering, we chose to sit at the hightop table. Gio(?... sorry for the spelling dude) came over right away, introduced himself and answered any questions we had. He brought over utensils and plates (paper and plastic) while explaining that everything is made fresh and in the store. After only about 5 to 7 minutes, our food came out, looking fresh and definitely hot. We had to let the chicken sit to cool a bit before we could eat it. We found the bisquit to be on the dense side, but definitely flaky. The honey butter was a nice addition of sweetness to the heat of the rest of the meal. The thighs were very crunchy, moist and tasty. The comeback and hornets nest sauces were definitely spicy, with a touch of sweetness and we enjoyed them a lot. The french fries came out hot, with a good crunch to them. The serving was more than enough for both of us. One of our favorites of the meal was the cornbread.
