I love this place so much, the food is amazing but overall everytime I come in, there is this one woman who constantly has an attitude towards me. I had bought something from the restaurant and my friend came in next door with a bag, the lady yelled at her that she had to leave because no outside food is welcomed. She watched us both sit in my car across from the restaurant and eat our food. That was the first time her whole energy was off and she was rude, which I get it is a policy rule for no outside food but it could have been said WAY nicer than she portrayed it. Today I went in to go get a sandwich which was amazing but as I went to pay, all I had was a $50 and a $100 and she stared at me and said she doesn’t have any change and told me to use a card (which I did not have, I only had my moms card which I couldn’t use). I felt awkward it was either i walk out or used my moms card which I did. She could have gotten change from any other person including herself, coning from someone who has worked at multiple stores and still deals with this stuff. It is common courtesy and I really enjoy this place, I wish I knew the name of this lady all I know is that she wears a cloth on her head and two braids tied together at the bottom. Manners are also not there eithwr with her as I always say thank you and greet her everytime, she just ignores me and walks away, as I see her do it with other customers too. I walked out of the restaurant and she continued to make a nasty face to my friend and I as we smiled at her and walked out (the nice thing to do.) It is really not a good look coming from an outside perspective. I love this place and will continue to come and the food is amazing, the other workers are great, and so is the seating area, i just don’t appreciate rudeness coming from someone who can have the choice of being nice, when you should be when you are working in a restaurant and talking...
Read moreI drove 45 minutes with my husband to try Greens and Grains, excited to experience something new. We had already decided on our meals before arriving but unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn that basic substitutions were not allowed. I requested a simple meat swap to turkey instead of salami and ham, while keeping the sub as listed, but was told it wasn’t possible. Additionally, their seitan cheesesteak couldn’t be made with an alternative cheese selection.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of efficiency, but also the value of accommodating customers within reason. The rigid, pre-portioned approach made the experience feel inflexible and unwelcoming. Ultimately, we left without ordering as there were no options to adjust meals to our preferences.
I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because we didn’t get to try the food, so I can’t comment on quality. However, based on this experience, we won’t be returning or recommending this place to others. I hope they consider making small accommodations to improve customer...
Read moreNot a good experience. For a place that’s vegan, they should have had an ingredient list for all foods. Couldn’t find my very allergic son hardly anything to eat. The girl at the counter could hardly help me. Wound up buying him an order of over-priced sweet potato fries and once they sat down to eat, my other two kids weren’t allowed to eat their other food at the table that they brought. In from a fast food place. Just let the kids eat, seriously. Very turned off, won’t spend another dollar at this store and I’m big into eating healthy and spending money for food that’s well worth it! I’m a mom of three that’s been out all day with three kids, you could have just sold me something else for my son to eat and let my husband and poor three kids sit and eat in the restaurant while I was getting my hair blown out next door. ...
