I stopped my membership back in October from two horrible experiences with the same stylist who I had specifically asked not to get again and yet I did. When I cancelled I still had two blowouts and an add on, I was told they would be good for use within 90 days(including the add on). I was going to schedule a blowout with the add on before the end of the month that following week and was REASSURED it would be fine to use within said 90 day period. Fast forward to this past week when I made my final appointment I mentioned how I had an add on and was looking for an appointment Saturday morning and they didn’t have any as early as I needed(and to not be with said stylist) so we discussed Friday 12/15 and Thursday 12/14 availability and Thursday 12/14 worked best. I made the appointment received my email confirmation and text confirmation as I always do. I go to my appointment and my stylist Elle was absolutely wonderful and left my hair looking picture perfect. As I go to check out the front desk wanted to charge me for the add on, stating that didn’t roll over when the barfly membership was cancelled and I explained how I was told otherwise. Fast forward to this morning Saturday 12/16. I receive a voicemail that I had missed my appointment and would be charged for no showing. I never made an appointment for today nor did I ever receive an email or text confirmation for it and wasn’t mentioned when I was there TWO days prior for my appointment. Read moreI had high hopes for my first Drybar experience but unfortunately, it will be my last. I have short hair and wanted something very simple and thought I'd probably be a very easy client being that I was just looking for a blow out and a flat iron, I was wrong. I arrived at 1:20 and was taken pretty quickly. It became evident very quickly that the stylist I had was extremely new. Maybe it was the fact that she hit me in the head with the blow dryer multiple times, or the fact she was pulling hair out of my head during styling. I became very distressed when I could see my hair was looking worse by the minute. I gave it time, maybe I was jumping to conclusions too quickly. When she was almost done styling my hair I had to tell her to stop, it looked like I put my finger in an electrical outlet. I will preface that the stylist was sweet but I do not think she is floor ready enough to be taking clients. Quickly the hair educator came over and took over the job, but it was going from bad to worse. The hair educator grabbed the manager which then tried to make things better, it was clear that we had to start over with another wash to make anything salvable. So back to the hair washing station we went.
I do want to say that management did a good job on rectifying issue but I did not have the hair I envisioned having at my first Drybar experience. Disappointed considering such an easy style request. Not to mention, I was there from 1:20pm to 3:15pm.

Read moreI am not one to leave a bad review on an establishment when I am not happy , but I have always raved about this location because Pricilla always blew my hair out to perfection and lasted days ! I tried to cancel my membership September 9th because memberships were raised to $59 a month and was constantly being given another stylist who never came close to Pricella except for Laura. They were not giving me the discounted price when I would go more than once a month and owed me 80 dollars back. I spoke to Danielle the new manager and explained my frustration of membership going up (not worth it) because memberships should be a locked price for members who already had a membership. She credited me back by adding 2 blowouts to my account and 2 free add ons and “locking me in with Pricella” . Today I finally was able to get a blow out , because life got busy and tonight I had a party to go to so I was looking forward to going and seeing Pricella and getting my hair done . I checked in and waited and to my surprise got another stylist and she tells me Pricella doesn’t work there anymore . I didn’t have a choice bc I have a party tonight. I can’t wait to see if this blowout lasts which I am confident it won’t . The manager was there and asked if I can cancel , no I’m sorry , not ANY explanation - you have 30 days to use your blowouts in your account and walked back to blowing out someone’s hair .
