These past 2 visits to this Applebee's have had fantastic wait times, friendliness and courtesy from staff (shoutout to Jenna, I think was her name), and in general, eating there has made my Sundays better.
The food is basically 1 step up from USA-themed fast food, but that happens to be my favorite cuisine. So, I ain't complaining.
I've heard people online bash restaurants like Applebee's about how the food is cooked from frozen and by staffers who shouldn't be called 'chefs'. I say to those people: just sit down and socialize with those around you if you get dragged to an Applebee's! Realize you're not better than the (likely entry-level) chefs by simply thinking all food has to be made fresh.
I eat here due to my indiscriminate taste buds and knowing it's a well-ran and inclusive restaurant to order some delicious, albeit fatty grub. My whole family can be seated comfortably at their tables and not have to worry about the floors being a mess, the tables being sticky, or the bathrooms looking like... well, like I need to find another bathroom.
My only complaint is that the alcoholic drinks are overpriced without happy hour-mode turned on. Thanks again, Jenna, for being an amazing waitress! She listened to all 7 of us and our specific requests, like-- replacing cocktail sauce with tartar, bringing small plates for the appetizers, and getting an extra set of silverware for when one family member turned out to be late. Never once did she seem annoyed and always had the availability to check on us to see if our orders were correct and well-cooked, and if any of us needed more water.
Anyhow, you can't get better table-side manner than at this Walla Walla Applebee's! I hope to see the rest of my neighborhood there soon for a round of drinks and a cheesy bowl of...

Interesting note: While dining in, I discovered from "an unnamed insider," that short pooring alcohol is a company policy. Expect to pay full price for some mixological sleight-of-hand.
According to the insider, this franchisee's well-executed short pooring strategy adds significant numbers to their bottom line, upto "20% on alcohol costs alone for every ounce of alcohol saved," WISK.ai. Bartenders fact-check, please?
But if you like a well formed head on your Applebees tap brew, then you're way more sophisticated than I. As for me, I prefer function over form in these inflationary times.
I won't bore you with the science of nucleation but lets just say seeing is believing. See pic.
Nevertheless, my toddler aged son loves the game console, so dining-in is more for him, not me.
Located in the heart of a condominium complex for independent senior retirees, this location holds strong appeal for families. The kids menu is simple yet elegant in design and function.
Okay, the truth? Friendly, attentive staff, consistent fare. Best time to go is 1030a to...
Read morewas just my friends birthday and we all thought it would be a great idea to take her out to applebee’s for dinner. we went around 5 pm, they had only 5 or 6 tables sat but still made us wait 5 minutes to sit in a completely empty section of the restaurant. after being sat, we weren’t helped for about 5 minutes when our server brianna introduced herself and took our food and drink orders. but we never saw her again. 3 different people served our food, there was only 4 of us. not one offered to refill our 2 empty cups at the end of the table. the chicken on 2 of our pastas was dry and old, the fries were soggy, but at least the mozzarella sticks were good! we tried getting the attention of the host, as well as another server, to get our drinks refilled, but were ignored. we didn’t have a single server, help us or ask about food or drinks when there were 6 or 7 people total in front of house. extremely disappointed that when i asked the host for a refill she needed to find the server to refill a drink when there was no one waiting to be sat. left the money on the table and left....
