Wingstop — Restaurant in Walled Lake

I’m at a loss for words. I’m not one to write reviews, in face I think I’ve only made a review for a nail place before. Never did I ever think I’d give a business 1 star, even if I’m dissatisfied with something, I could never leave a 1 star review, until now. I placed an order for a 15 piece combo with 2 ranches, nothing more. The girl tells me “once you get here, give us 20 minutes to get your order done.” Already, I’m extremely confused because why would it take an additional 20 minutes from me entering the door to complete my order? It’s Christmas time, so I just let it go and say OK and hang up. I decided to wait 25 minutes before leaving so that they had enough time to finish. I get two Wingstop and they tell me it’s going to be 10 minutes maximum. I say that’s fine no worries and head out back to my car. I wait another 10 minutes and enter the store again. The guy seems confused by the sight of me. I walk up to the register and he asks what my name is again. I tell him and he says give me a few more minutes. After 10 more minutes, I finally get my order. I get home after driving 20 minutes to get to my home that six minutes away due to the snow. I open the bag and the fries aren’t even covered, they’re literally in a serving basket that you would get in a restaurant so they’re all over the bag. I dig down to the bottom of the bag to grab the box of wings. I opened them and there’s only 10, half are sauced and half are not. I call Wingstop, and the guy who answered the phone took at least seven minutes to find my order that I had just picked up, he acted extremely confused as if he hadn’t just served me. finally, he finds my ticket and says “it looks like you only ordered a 6 piece, so actually we gave you more than you asked for. If you have a receipt, then I can refire your order for you.” Just then, I realize they never gave me my receipt. However, thank God I used my card so I was able to go into my transaction history and see how much I spent. My total came out to $18.97. I tell the guy on the phone what I was charged and he has the nerve to say that it’s because I ordered two extra sauces. So he wanted me to believe that 6 wings and two sauces came out to $19. I said “you know what, it’s fine. merry christmas” and hung up because I knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere and I really didn’t have the time to wait another half hour and risk them doing something to my food out of spite. No thank you!

This was our first visit but definitely not our last. We got 2 of the specials that included 20 pc boneless wings, with the option of 4 different flavors for the wings, with large fries and 2 dips. We substituted Cajun corn for the fries on second meal. We tried 8 different flavors between the 2 meals. Every single one was delicious. The Cajun corn is little wheels of corn (cob) with Cajun seasoning. Everything was amazing. Our tongues are still tingling from the spices, but in a good way. Our family of 3 tried everything and there's still leftovers. The Walled Lake location is the tiniest building but they pack in big flavor in a very clean store. The service was great and very friendly, even at 11pm. I can't say enough about this place. You must try it! Flavors we tried were: original hot, Louisiana rub, hickory smoked bbq, mango habanero, Hawaiian, spicy Korean, lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. I can't even say which was our favorite as every flavor was amazing and the chicken was so juicy. I can't wait to try the rest of the flavors! Keep up...

Placed my order over the phone and informed the employee that I have the coupon for the 5 free wings. I was informed that I had to get ten wings and nothing less because I did not get a combo which is new to me because I always go to different Wingstops and this is the first I've ever heard of. Lady informed me that I can use the coupon just as long as I show it once I get there. When I arrive, as I was cashing out I was informed that I could not use the coupon in the store again which is awesome news to me. Then she proceeded to tell me that I can only use it online but she was giving it to me because it was my first time which is not true. The coupon clearly states in store or online when I explained that to her she then proceeded to say that I can only use the coupon once and then I can only order online if I use it again.
