Ms. Sasha is my son’s art teacher for over 3 years since he is 4 and half years old. She has been tutoring my son’s vocabulary and reading for over a year as well. If you ask me, Ms. Sasha is the best teacher ever. She is an experienced teach with many years’ experience. She knows kids very well and extremely patient. In the art classes, she teaches basic skills, explains her plots and reasons she wants to paint that way but same time she always respects my son’s ideas and let him to use all his imaginations! For me that’s the most important thing in learning arts at his age. For vocabulary and reading, she always spends time with my son to investigate the further meanings of the words and explore further related knowledges together. My young adult daughter with special needs has taken art classes from Sasha for four years. She started at the beginning of Covid taking weekly classes via zoom. The classes were amazing. Sasha was very interactive with Sara and they developed a beautiful relationship. The online classes were easy to follow and even tho we had not meet Sasha in person she became a very important and loving friend. Sara now takes five classes per week usually via zoom. We have also meet in person and Sara usually has an in person class at least once a month. Classes in person often include field trips to other locations, nature walks, visits to museums and the zoo. Sara’s art has developed and she now participated in art/craft events most weekend. Sasha is a very talented artist and passes on her skills to her students. Sasha was my first watercolor teacher when I lived in Michigan. She truly instilled a love for creating art that gave me great tranquility. Through the years I studied with her at various points, each time learning something new and being inspired to continue doing artwork. Sadly, I moved away from Michigan and no longer lived near my beloved teacher. However, we stayed in touch and I was so thrilled when Sasha began offering classes online!
