Firstly Having been a patron of Sara J’s since 2003, I can attest to the heart and passion that goes into each and every meal. Whether Sara or her mother Karen is cooking, and regardless of what happening around the world, I always knew that a meal at Sara J’s was like a meal your mama would cook for ya. While I’ve moved away to FL in 2015, I flew back to CT this past October to spend Halloween with cousins and family, and made a point to visit Sara J’s for breakfast. Upon arriving (mind you I looked online and saw they were cash-only before arriving) I was greeted by warm smiles and positivity. The only crack heads I’ve ever seen in the area certainly weren’t Karen or Sara, but the individuals who have GRACEd our presence, and even then if they came up to Sara J’s window and paid in cash, I firmly believe that Sara and Karen would have served them with humility and compassion. For breakfast I didn’t know what I was hunger for, so Karen offered up some options, and I settled in on a fratatta (prob spelled wrong) .. it came with toast. Pressed potatoes, eggs, tomato, bacon and I think onions. Y’all to say I was full afterwards would be an understatement. Sooo delicious, and warms your belly! To top it off I enjoyed a delicious cake cup thingy - pineapple and mango. Soo good. I then walked 5 miles at the Linear Trail and wasn’t hungry again until late late.. 5 or 6 pm. Sara J’s has been in business for 24 years and their service and food are excellent in every way. Support local small businesses like Sara J’s and you will not be disappointed, unless you’re a dumbass like it seems Grace was and chose to act like a crackheaded 15 year old who should choose a different path in life. Just saying. May the crackheads in life find Grace and God. Bless their little rocky hearts ❤️ Don’t do drugs kids. Unless your drugs are cupcakes or cake cups from Sara J’s and then I could understand if you’re acting like a crackhead.. sooo delicious. Okay stop snort laughing. This is a serious 5 star review here. Leave a tip in the bucket and don’t eat in your car. Go to a park...
Read moreMy family goes every Saturday now since the first time we tried it about a month and a half ago. Their pancake (the hubcap) is HUGE and can easily feed me and my daughter, with left overs. My husband loves the meat and potatoes sandwich and it fills him up by itself. Their French toast is great, that’s my go to. The home fries (spudfries) are great too, we’ve only tried them plain but they have topping options as well. Our family spends $30 and it’s definitely worth it. They are cash only, so keep that in mind when you go. Also they currently don’t offer dine in, but that’s fine for us because we like to pick up and eat at home anyways. All in all, this place is wonderful and I rave about it to anyone that asks for a breakfast...
