I used to like this place a lot but it’s not the same anymore, I used to place phone pick up orders so my food can be ready so i don’t have to deal with the ridiculous wait time like when you go in person. However it’s damn near impossible to get them to pick up the phone and when they do pick up the phone it’s hard to communicate when the person on the other end doesn’t speak good english, my order here is always the same yet everytime something seems to be wrong like recently I placed my order for BLT with CHEESE get home just to realize they never put on cheese another time i came in to get the same order they also forgot the cheese and i know that because i heard the two ladies talking about my order so i had wait for them to put cheese. sometimes even if they get the order right the sandwich itself just doesn’t hit the same like it used to for example before when I ordered BLT with cheese i had to start saying EXTRA MAYO because the sandwich was dry or other times the sandwich wasn’t full enough. it’s always something in general with this place but my real issue is the price one day i ordered the lady on the phone tells me $15.35 but the next day i came in the guy tells me $14 it’s like the prices switch. I honestly think this place just got extremely money hungry and less hard working cause when I come in i see the workers talking to eachother more than working. I started going to another place “The bagel house” in Lodi not only are their sandwiches fuller they also taste better too and it’s cheaper as well plus staff...

I used to love this place and looked forward to the weekends for my breakfast sandwiches or bagels!! In the past this would’ve been an easy 5 star but not no more!!

This used to be a great local place for weekend morning quick eats, used to be! The reason I say this is because it seems this place has chosen profits over service.

There was a time when you used to be able to call in an order, good luck with that! The phone is kept off the hook until they can catch up. I also used to call the order in and pay when I got there. Not any more! Now they want your credit card to charge the order, no exceptions!! Kinda sucks for someone that likes to order and pay cash when picking up. Seems like they’re on to something by making sure they get paid first because wait times in the weekend is in the dumps!

They nicely have a sign that in part reads “…they are short staffed, please be patient with the staff”, but short staffed they’re not! The problem is they’re trying to maximize orders by taking online orders up the wazoo. They also prioritize them over people that don’t do online orders! They not only have one machine, but two machines spitting out orders! And the staff can’t reject ANY online orders.

FYI…I sat here today 30 minutes waiting for my order and felt compelled to share with everyone what a great establishment this used to be, key word “used to be”. My recommendation, Candlewyck Diner has less of a wait and better coffee! Might as well close the store front and do online orders...

I always get the same thing, a bagel toasted with cream cheese. Lately they have been barely putting on any cream cheese on the bagel. You almost have to watch them and tell them to put another smear on your bagel. If I’m paying for a cream cheese bagel, I expect at least a decent amount on both sides of the bagel. I should at least see a little bit of cream cheese coming out of the edge of the bagel, but no. It’s such a shame because the bagels are so fluffy and delicious. They are the perfect consistency. A little crisp on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside.

Sometimes you do get a day old bagel from the previous day, specifically I’ve noticed this with cinnamon raisin bagels. They think you don’t notice it when you ask for it toasted but you can definitely notice through the consistency of the bagel. The outside of the bagel is much harder and not as fluffy on the inside the next day. I love the bagels here, but they can be inconsistent with orders.
