It has been over two hours. My pizza has still not left the store. I have called over three times. I have been on hold upwards of 20 minutes and not been able to get ahold of anyone. I ordered pizza over two hours ago I really just want my pizza. I understand busy saturday nights...but 2 hours.... Update. So I ordered this pizza at 6:30. It's 10:00 now. I have tried to call the store. No answer. None.
Update to the story - The pizza finally turned up, completely cold, they tried to charge me for it. I said no. I call the cooperate line (still no answer at the store) and they tell me someone will follow up. The store calls me 5 days later and says they'll give me a free pizza, explain that there were issues with the power and their manager. It's cool - like, as a consumer the situation sucked, but I can get a rough night with lots going on. They insist it was a "one night thing" where they had lots of problems. They ask for my address and say they'll credit a pizza to that address. (They say nothing about a coupon.)
It's now some time later, I think 'hey how about that pizza' and call them. I am told I have to have a coupon to get a free pizza. I give them my address and say I was told I had a free pizza, they say I still have to have a coupon. I say I don't have one and wasn't told about a coupon. They say "well keep waiting it will be in the mail, you can get a free pizza when you have that."
Yeah forget it. I like Dominos but I'm not patronizing this location. Absolutely awful. Also judging by the other google reviews and yelp? This wasn't a "one...
Read moreI love Domino's Pizza. This one in Waltham is exceptional. Whoever runs that place?
Runs a good ship 🚢.
They're fast. Like all Domino's. And good 👍.
But more than that? The employees seemed really Happy. Upbeat. Friendly... I did the "pick up" at the store.
I'm just saying... Maybe it's unimportant to you if the guy making your pizza hates his job. Which generally means you hate your life. At least 40 hours a week you do.
Yeah. I'm all set. That's not the guy I want making my pizza.
I generally wish all humans happiness. But concerning my pizza? I wish those guys (*And the females. Ladies work there too. If I'm not mistaken...
Yes I wish all of them extra happiness.
Now ... In all seriousness? I got an overall sense of "Professionalism"? Yes. A sense of personal "Pride"? Again Yes.
I shouldn't have to "qualify" myself, but I will... I attended Bentley University. It's an amazing Business School. I was nowhere near their best student.
But I learned. A lot. The Professor's were outstanding.
It's one of the hardest things to achieve in the workplace. That being an atmosphere of "Pride & Professionalism".
Domino's Corp. should be commended as well. It's usually a 🔝 top-down 👇 thing. It normally starts at the top.
Unless this store is an "anomaly"? And nature doesn't create "one-offs".
The Mediocrity Principle states that if you observe something... It's a safe bet that it's a generally a very typical example of whatever's being observed.
In this case it's my favorite...
Read moreI have to say, this is the first time EVER that I am disappointed in Dominoes Pizza. Sunday night 12/6/2015 we ordered our pizzas via one of their coupons (2 or more 3 topping pizzas...) online. I originally thought the guy was late, opened my phone and saw an unknown number.. at 11pm+ so I called it figuring it was the deliverer. It was. He was very polite and said he was there but no fault of his, he went to the front door downstairs. He came back within minutes.
Our Apartment is upstairs in the back. After he left we opened the pizzas and one had only 1 topping and it was ham, not ham and double bacon. The second pizza was just 2 toppings; sausage and ham but we ordered pepperoni, ham and sausage. I tried to call them, the line was busy for about 10 minutes. I kept trying and finally it rang but no one answered after literally 20 rings. Oh yeah...and one of the pizzas came with one of their pizza trays they put in the oven!. I always wanted one of these trays with the holes in it for crispier homemade pizzas. It's mine now thanks. Perhaps these employees need to take a drug test??
Reading other reviews complaining about the service, I wondered to myself how this establishment can still be open with such horrible service. With the exception of the delivery guy (NOTLinda as it is posted online as the delivery person), this Dominoes does not deserve any "Best" awards and you can bet we will not be getting our orders here anymore. This is by far the worst Dominoes...
