Simple, easy space but special and delicious! We came here for lunch during the week and we were not disappointed. The space is small and quaint but its busy and big enough to sit comfortably at your table. We sat at one of the high tables and enjoyed looking at all the pictures that covered the wall - of people and moments that have been enjoyed at this diner. It has been moved from Havard Sq to Waltham but it doesn't take away from being a great diner. For food we did a burger and chicken kebob with a greek salad and both were incredibly fresh and delish! I am super picky when I order chicken - if its chewy its a no go - but this chicken was grilled and spiced to perfection. I also loved the salad and rice that came with it. The jalapeno burger was also a hit and there was talk about the perfect fries - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We will definitely be going back! Maybe next time we will try lunch :)

This is the best breakfast place in Waltham. Owners, brothers Richie and Raffi, are amazing chefs and very friendly people. My wife and I have been visiting Leo’s Place Diner since it had moved from its original location in Harvard Square. We usually order omelets or eggs with bacon or sausages which are always cooked perfectly. Owners know what we like and bring us coffee with cream as soon as we sit at the table. Leo’s pancakes and waffles are incredibly delicious too and their home fries are the best in the area. They are not greasy, under-cooked or over-cooked (like ones in the Pickle and other Waltham breakfast places) but rather crusty, flavorsome and melting in mouth enjoyably. Overall, this is A+ breakfast and lunch establishment run by two accomplished professional chefs with 40 years of experience in dining business. I certainly recommend to visit Leo’s Place Diner if you visit Waltham. You won’t regret.

Another great find via google search. Serving “Breakfast All Day” and ours was amazing! I had the “Big Dog’s 333” with chocolate chips in my pancakes. The over hard eggs were cooked perfectly along with the crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes. My wife’s bagel with butter was moist and fresh. She also had a side of perfectly prepared home fries. The iced tea reminded me of “sun tea” of which I have fond memories from my childhood. I can highly suggest Leo’s Place Diner if you are in the area. Update September 21,2019. Back again. This time I Little Dog 222 with home fries. Another great meal and service.

Went here for the first time today. My boyfriend said he had not been to this place since its previous location in Harvard Square. Unfortunately they were so busy that they were not doing lunch dishes that day - so we will have to come back to try those another time, because everything on the menu sounded so good! We each got a different one of the 'Little Dog' plates, with eggs, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. Also ordered the fruit cup with yogurt and honey on a whim, and it made us very happy! It is absolutely worth the money, there's at least 7 different types of fruit in it, all hand-cut, not from a can, some of which I can remember: mango, figs, redcurrants, blueberries, kiwi, peaches... So if you want a really fancy fruit cup, get it here :)

All the yummy breakfast food we had on our Little Dog plates was so tasty, perfectly soft and golden pancakes and French toast, delicious crispy bacon. It really hit the spot. There are 3 older guys here that must be the owners, and they were cooking and cleaning up and making sure everyone was happy! Can't wait to come back and try more...

This is my favorite breakfast location in Waltham. This feels like a diner and much of the menu reflects that, but there are interesting additions and surprises. Their fruit salad is always fresh cut when you order, and full of delicious and exotic selections for a diner (dragonfruit, goldberries, white raspberries, persimmon, i have found these in my salad on different trips), the eggs are always cooked perfectly, and the coffee is hot and fresh. I noticed a couple of negative comments regarding the staff. I felt there was a bit of a cool reception the first time I ate here. But I ignored it and treated everyone behind the counter like I do everyone one I meet. The folks here are friendly and helpful. They do not hover, they are no-nonsense. This is also a busy place being run by a smal staff....THEY HUSTLE! They will be as warm as you are to them. You take your time and when you are ready....speak up! Try it out. We love it, we are delighted Leo's moved from Harvard...

I had high hopes for this place given other reviews and ended up very disappointed. We were seated right away, but the hostess had to take a menu from another table (who had yet to order) so she could give us one. I requested two eggs on the side with my meal, but was told I couldn't have just two eggs. The restaurant was maybe two-thirds full by the time we ordered, and our breakfasts (two meals) took 35 minutes to cook and be served. We were waited on by both servers and requested refills more than once and never got them. The food was subpar (no way was this breakfast worth $30 between the two of us), and we had to request our check after sitting with empty plates (and glasses) in front of us for ten minutes. When we tried to cash out, my credit card was somehow charged and extra $3.00 from the check we were given. The server corrected it by giving me $3.00 cash instead of figuring out why then amounts on the two checks...
