Really beautiful looking restaurant! Food was just so so. Service is not particularly attentive didn't seem like the restaurant was busy, but maybe just an off night for our server. I had to hunt somebody down to get a condiment. The food I got was really quite dry, mustard chicken sandwhich, so boy did I need the condiment.
I'm not sure what was happening that night but our server didn't even ask how we were doing after we got our food, only when they dropped off the condiment that I had to put way more effort than a diner should to ask for. Had to wait a while for second round of drinks, so much so that we ordered an extra drink cause my guest thought she never ordered it, the 2nd round of drinks didn't even have the fun garnishes, booo cause the garnish is AWESOME
Gluten-free bun needs TLC to be good,as it was served NOPE, crumbly inedible mess. The mustard chicken was tough and dry, only got it down cause lots of aioli made it work. I dont typically eat meat but i am particular about veggie burgers and the menu didn't give a lot info about it. The only GF pasta that the menu had which looked appealing was the kid's mac and cheese, wished I chanced the veggie burger or asked to order a kid's meal cause my food was such a disappointment.
My friend had pulled pork Mac and Cheese, review "it was fine, nothing fantastic but ok" Another friend had the veggie burger, that was "good". Drinks were marginal the garnishes were so great it made us order more. Which is why it was disappointing when they arrived naked 😢
I will say my GF side of green beans was SOOOOOOO GOOD, even though my entree was subpar the place doesn't get just two stars cause that tiny side was just....GOSH DURN those green...
Read moreService was mediocre at best, food was great, low carb options... Upon arrival, we asked if we could sit on the patio outside, they didn't know if they had tables, so went to check for us. However, no one came back until another hostess went to find out where the 1st person went. When she came back and snapped back "sorry, I got side tracked, there are no tables". (no smile, no empathy). She seemed that our request was not a priority and didn't care that we stood there waiting for an answer, as other guests who arrived after us were seated indoors. Upon being seated, the waitress in that section walked by several times avoiding eye contact, she was clearly busy but I do expect some acknowledgement that you know I'm there. We stopped her and told her to we want an appetizer so if she can punch that in at her earliest chance (knowing she's busy, we were fine skipping the formalities if drinks at this point.) They were out of the item we ordered so she told us and left so we could look at menu. I asked for a beer at that time. Eventually she came back to take the rest of the order. Then the appetizer arrived, still no beer so I reminded her. I can see one poured at the bar that she waked by several times. I figured I asked 2x, I wasn't going to remind her a 3rd time. (I didn't need the calories and she clearly didn't care that she gets 20% of my $10 beer.) The food came, no beer so I told her to take it off which she did. The waitress was very nice, just not very good. Aside from the hostess not caring, the waitress being to busy to acknowledge us initially, and never getting my beer, she was pleasant the the food good. We'll give them a 2nd try, perhaps, but not rushing back due to the...
Read moreThis was my birthday meal with my parents and I reserved for 3 people and called to make sure we could get a low table. My parents said they were initially taken to a booth when they announced my reservation which is strange because i specifically asked for table not booth for my needs. I did not feel that the service was exceptional and the food took forever to be served. At one point, i witnessed our server in the back on her cell phone while our food was sitting by the chefs. Drinks were not refilled automatically and at the price point they had for soda I expected better. Ketchup was not brought out with my moms burger and she had to wait to enjoy it. We did not like that substituting a salad for fries with the burger cost an additional 3.50. My dad liked the waldorf salad with salmon instead of chicken but the pricing system was confusing and not fully transparent. We felt that a few dollars should have been subtracted for not having the chicken on the waldorf and that adding the salmon should have made it 20 or less instead of 23 something. My greek wedge was tasty but the wedge was not shaped like I was expecting. I liked that the lettuce was dressed/moist throughout but i felt that the other ingredients could only be consumed all at once and the tzaziki was too heavy. The bang bang shrimp were just okay. It felt more like an average joe meal than a not average joe meal. No one from management stopped at our table to check in either, which is commonplace for chain restaurants these days. On the brighter side, the men's room was clean...
