We switched to Cheers from another POS system earlier this year. Based on their flier that we received in the mail they seemed to be everything we were looking for in a POS system. They were not, While their customer service was above average we soon realized that the product was inconsistent with their claims. We were having to switch servers ( from Firefox to Google) to print items such as labels and our inventory received docs. ( Cheers sold us a printer that was only Google compatible even though their system was on Firefox!! There was no electronic invoice receiving. This meant all of your large orders had to be done line by line. This takes a considerable amount of time. Money we thought we would save was now being shifted to labor costs just to input orders. Over 30 days we asked questions over and over and we heard the same thing.. " yes, we can do that" or " I have guys working on that" Nothing came to fruition. We spent money on updating our internet to make the system run faster ( at Cheers suggestion) and it still crawled along( because we had to have multiple servers open and running to use their system) We really wanted the cloud based program for our store so we could could be efficient with inventory, customer service, ordering etc but the system fell flat in these areas due to its overall lack of speed and design. Summation.... lack of speed, ability to rcv invoicing from vendors, and moving from one server to another all the time sent us back to our former POS system Brad Swan -...
Read moreWe are so very happy with the quality and professional service Edgar and his company Cheers POS have provided us. When we first contacted them they were fast on their customer service and came to visit out store gave us a full software demo and free consultation. They provided me with different hardware and service options that fit my needs in order to make the change, I appreciate option in life especially since I'm smaller liquor store. It wasn't all about using their equipment and hardware which I like. One of my major concerns before changing over was inventory. I was really concerned about getting my inventory into the Cheers since I had an old punch register the converting process was truly frightening yet with Cheers since they specialize in only liquor stores and have done multiple stores in the KC area it was a breeze. They where able provide help in scanning each item adding things like bottle descriptions, cost, price, retail and print shelf labels which made the change process go over smoothly. Love the training that comes with the purchase, they trained my staff and answered all my questions instead of having to go online and search for answers. Cheers has really helped me get away from working behind the register and allowed me to focus on growing my store; it's reduced the chances of employee stealing and monitoring my inventory closely. I highly recommend these guys their customer service is fast and I can always get a hold of someone quickly. Thanks...
Read moreEdgar and his team has always provided excellent customer service. Edgar happily takes new reporting requirement and have those done fast. Their reporting system helped me catch internal thefts.. the best part of the software is integrated sales book from standard and glazer.. obviously your item numbers in previous system should be correct, otherwise it will be junk in and junk out..
I read a review about the long ordering time, my item numbers in cheerspos match the actual item numbers at standard and Glazer, so ordering is king of add to cart for us..
The best thing is, there's always someone to pick up your phone and listen to your issues and for that I would give 10 plus starts..
Have been using it for 7 months now and things are just getting better for me and the store..
Employees are extremely happy .. lot of additional features like clock in clock out, all sorts of reporting option, easy inventory import and export, fixing the prices and quantities at finger tips.. the section by section inventory count saved me over thousands of dollars, I do my own inventory count now every 2 months..
Good Luck...
