Great food BUT........it was rather obvious that the floor was not clean/not picked up. In the checkout area there were several pieces of paper on floor. In the dining area there was a grape laying by a table on the floor, then other food pieces and plastic wrap. When I kindly mentioned this to the manager, Brittney, she didn't say "thank you for letting me know". Instead she starts making excuses for why the floor isn't clean. For the paper in the checkout area she said they couldn't keep that clean "because the customers don't like to be swept around". For the grape laying in the dining area she said "someone probably just got through eating there". (Nope not true. I sat there for atleast 30 minutes. No other customers sat there. Just the grape. All by himself.) Then I could tell that she was unconcerned about the cleanliness of her store so I walked back to my table. A worker showed up right behind me with broom & pan in hand asking me where the food/trash was. I told her she could find it if she looked for it. I said "I'm not going to point it out to you because it is very obvious. Besides your manager didn't act like she cared if there was trash out here or not ". I wasn't looking for trash. It was there in plain sight as I was sitting in my booth, eating my food. I had filled out a comment/rating card which I could have left anonymously on the table. But I thought maybe I could kindly share this with the manager and s/he will appreciate my comments. I wonder what she did with that rating card? I wonder if anyone else will ever see it? I wonder if they will appreciate future efforts of...
Read moreLet me just say, I love this place. The food is delicious and that chicken poblano soup is one of the best soups ever made. Pros: high quality food, great tasting soups, delicious tiny cookie that comes with each meal. Cons: 1) the app... Omg where do I even start. This is the worst app I have ever used out of ALL the food restaurants that have apps. Whoever made this app clearly has never ordered something from a restaurant before. It is EMBARRASSING to have paid someone or even multiple people to make an app so atrociously bad. If they would've asked anyone that actually has to order from the app, it is an obvious "this app sucks". 2) I don't know what happened, but over the last few months the amount of food has been all over the place. My dad and I get "The Chick" meal every time, and half the time the soup is half empty, the sandwich is literally like one total scoop for both sandwiches (meaning more than 50% to even 75% of each sandwich has nothing on it...) and it isn't filling to say the least. Other times it is how it normally was and is incredibly good. The consistency drives us crazy because half the time we end up still hungry and barely ate anything and other times we are full and are like "wow, this is why we love ordering from this place". I really want to support this place but if the consistency issues keep coming our way, it is hard to...
Read moreIt was my first time, but I'll definitely be back often! They let you sample whatever flavor of chicken salad you'd like. Ask the employees what their recommendations are! All of the different flavors have distinct names and are divided into 4 subsections. Sweet, Savory, Spicy, and Classic. My favorite is the Kickin' Kae Lynn. (Per recommendation of an employee named Kate) A chicken salad with a bit of kick and Sriracha flavor. (Spicy) I had it scooped on top of my salad. I also tried the Fancy Nancy (Sweet) on a sandwich, a fruity nutty flavored chicken salad with apple pieces, pecan bits, and the occasional grape! And finally I got to try Tamara's Terragon. (Savory) Fragrant with a strong earthy flavor. I definitely would say you want to eat it with bread and crackers. The flavor is powerful and pairs amazingly with a complimentary pickle. The loaded potato soup was fresh and pipping hot. And the homemade butter cream cookies are to die for! Although Chicken salad seems like a niche market food item, CSC is something I've been craving as the menu is fresh...
