I usually come to Splinters for latin night and I always have a great experience. Is usually a tall white man that is here when I come, I forgot his name but he is very nice and welcoming. Last night he was not here and the staff were to busy making jokes and giggling among each other that forgot to extend that joy to their customers in particular the latino. I waited for her to be by herself and I approached her and let her know how her actions made me feel. I thought it was done and over because I got of my chest what I needed to say. I did not yell, I did not get aggressive with her. So I go back with my friends trying to enjoy the night and forgot about what just happened. About 15minutes later Trey, comes out to where I was and instead of asking to understand about how I felt he was very arrogant, didn't have the courtesy to talk to me in private just like I did with her and proceeds to tell me how to feel. This is horrible customers service. I tried to call and even went back to speak with another manager but unfortunately they are not giving me this option. So I have to leave my review. I hope that they do better and if they dont have the patience or do not want us latinos here then please stop hosting...
Read moreFirst experience throwing axes. The night we visited, Splinter's had a Halloween party. Each patron received a little bag of treats. Customer's dressed in masks and costumes. The music played had a Halloween theme. $3 beer....drinks very reasonable. I can't say enough good stuff about the staff: Very personable, attentive, great service and humor. They serve French fries that remind me of a cross between curly fries and potato wedges. The fries hold heat very well, so potatoes don't get cold fast. The chicken tenders are hot and juicy. Axe throwing instructions are provided prior to playing. Our trainer was named Tray. He was patient and comical. Safety is stressed. There's also a pool table for those who like to play. Splinter's is in the process of opening the other side of the building which will house more playing events, bar...
Read moreWe were in town visiting our adult son (who just moved here) and I was looking for something fun to do. I always enjoy axe throwing and it happened to also be ladies’ night (bonus!) and karaoke night (double bonus!) when we were there. We arrived at 6:30pm and our throwing coach was great. Karaoke started at 7:30. Now, it was July 4th, so maybe the usual crowds weren’t there? There was only one other couple for awhile and right before we left at 8:30-ish another couple showed up. We still had a fun time and everyone there was very friendly and supportive (good to know if you don’t have the best voice). I would love to see this place when it’s more crowded. But I would definitely go back next time I’m in town! (We didn’t eat and only had beers so I can’t comment on the food or quality of...
