I super love ice cream and Andy's Frozen Custard is absolutely delicious... but that's the only good thing I can say for the OKC location... There service is proving to be quite poor. The first time I went after they opened (which has only been for a week now) they messed up the order (we asked for a cup but they made a cone), the second time they messed up the order (I asked for chocolate but they gave vanilla), the third time they actually got it right, the fourth time I paid with a gift card I had been given and they had no clue what to do and once they finally figured it out they almost didn't give me back my card back that still had money on it, and the last time I went they got a cup order mixed up for a cone order again and then mixed up the sizes for two cups they did remember to make (and when they tried to fix the size problem they ended up throwing away the perfectly good cup that was just too small only to give me back an ice cream that was still too small... horrendous I know) I think they just need a new system of relaying people's orders. Right now, the cashier has to yell out the order to someone making the custard, and if they aren't perfectly specific (if they don't make sure to say chocolate, or medium, or a cup for example), the order can easily come out wrong... If they claim it’s not working, wait and see if the charge comes up on your bank account. I was here last night with my sister and they claimed her card was getting declined. There was no reason for it to be getting declined, they claimed their machine has been messing up. Alright, I give them my card. Everything runs through we leave. Come to find out we get home and check her account, they’ve charged her card 7 times. That’s $172.41 pending on her card at the moment. Called the location and they said nothing to be done, have to call corporate. Called corporate, they directed me to another number. That number did not pick up, I had to leave a message. Her bank can’t do anything until we try everything possible with merchant. A dispute with the bank would take 2-4 weeks I’ve been accidentally charged for the wrong order at a restaurant before and they were able to immediately revoke the transaction. Read moreI have heard great things about Andy's but never been. I was heading down the Expressway and figured I would check it out. When I got to the location there was a drive thru so I figured why not. When I got up to the menu there was a huge selection, I was a little overwhelmed. My friend knew what he wanted so we ended up sharing a large James Brownie Funky Jackhammer. You drive up to the window and order. It was a lot to remember but when I said James Brownie the employee knew what I was talking about. The total was just under $8 for a large. I was a little hesitant because of the price, when you can go somewhere else and get a pint of ice cream for a little cheaper. When I got the ice cream it was definitely packed in there so I knew it was at least worth it for the amount you get. I really enjoyed the James Brownie, it was a lot for both of us to share but we definitely finished it.
