Aikou — Restaurant in Warren Township

Normally we like the food at Aikou Warren, however tonight (2.14.24) we ordered takeout online. My wife called about 20 minutes later to confirm a pickup time since we know it is a busy night. They confirmed on the phone another 20 to 25 minutes. I left about 30 minutes after her call and arrived at the store. It's busy, lots of people waiting, whatever. It has now been 25 minutes since my arrival, so about an hour and 5 since we ordered. Still no food.

Then the waitress chased down a young couple asking them if they paid. They said they left cash, she told them to wait. Sure enough, they had left cash. The kid said "I'm leaving this place a one star review!" Yanno what? I agree with him.

I know it's busy, but this is a horrible experience on an otherwise decent local Asian cuisine place. Stop taking online orders or tell people the honest...

We visit this place regularly, whenever my wife wants sushi - it's close to home and convenient. Always had a good meal until today. I ordered Thai Basil Fried Rice with beef. I normally have it with shrimp, but wanted to change it up a bit. The beef was terrible - very fatty. So much so, that I had to remove it from my mouth after trying to chew it. I told the waitress, who in turn told the lady behind the counter, who I assume is the manager. When I got my check, it did not reflect any type of discount at all. Again we are frequent customers, and have never complained about the food before. I'm not looking for a free meal, but I am looking for appreciation from the manager for being a frequent customer, and keeping it that way. I mentioned it to the manager again on my way out, and her reaction was one of indifference. We will not be...

Both of the two Chinese waitress tonight were so rude! Never saw any waitress this rude. She grabbed the tissues off our table in a storm. They had no patience. Poured water in a hurry, made you feel that you are begging them for food. But actually we are paying their services. My kids were scared. You felt that you are in a fast food Chinese resturant or these cheap Chinese buffet. But the bill is not cheap! We dined out frequently but had such a bad experience in this resturant. Not recommend to others.
