Absolutely terrible. First time we were here back in April, I thought it was average at best and wouldn’t never care to go back, but my son really wanted to go. We went tonight and there were 3-4 “waiters” standing around. As soon as we walked in, they scattered. We waited probably 10 minutes for anyone to come over. When they did, it was a non-waiter to bring chips and salsa. Another 5 minutes or so, we were able to order. We just ordered food with drinks because of the wait. By the time the food came, I had finished my beer and ready for another one. The guy that brought the food was not the guy that took the order. I asked for another beer and he nodded and never came back. Nobody to ask “is everything ok?” Or, “can I get you anything else?” Nope. Probably 15 minutes go by and we finally flagged down the original guy. Finally got another beer.
The food: I ordered the chicken enchiladas (red). The plate looked like it came from a premade microwave meal and tasted like it. Sauce was canned at best. Didn’t finish it. Wife’s fajitas were edible. Will...
Read moreResidents of Warren so during the pandemic We have been trying to give our business locally. Was excited to try La Piñata but so so disappointed. Actually embarrassed how messy and no care was given to our to go order. I get that having a full dining room is important to Businesses but to give us what they did is very disappointing. I ordered 3 hard tacos that Came in a to go box. All three tacos were a complete mess wet soggy tacos that I was forced To eat like a salad because the tacos were all soggy and broken in half. Our whole meal was a complete mess. No care was taken to preparing our dinner. Unfortunately we will not be returning. Vegetarian quesadilla with one piece of raw broccoli and one piece of a raw carrot in the quesadilla. I am ashamed a restaurant would have no quality control and look at our order before we left with it. What a shame. Quality and care was...
Read moreJust ok. Shared the combo plate: 1 short rib taco, 1 beef tamale and 1 short rib chimichanga. The taco and chimichanga were good, as was the refied beans and rice. The tamale was terrible...very small, all dried up and hard. We could hardly eat it. When we told the waitress, she said they make them fresh every day, and did not offer to replace it with something else. Very disappointed in that. The Cocorita was very tasty. My husband liked his taco and House Margarita. The salsa was good and tasty with chunks of fresh tomato and onion, although we prefer the pureed thick type. The waitress was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Sitting outdoors in the warm summer air was nice, and the string lights were a nice touch. There were fire towers but they were not lit. That would've been extra nice...
