Jimmy's Tavern — Restaurant in Warren

My wife and I came here to Jimmy's Tavern, for the first time today. It looked like a nice place based on reviews and photos. When we got there, we didn't know if we could seat ourselves. No one came over to us. So we asked a customer. We waited for at least 5 minutes for the waitress. We ordered 2 old fashions. They tasted like Iced orange water. My wife couldn't drink it. She ordered a cosmo that tasted like Kool aid. When we told the waitress about the drinks, she didn't seem to care. The bartender wasn't measuring the liquor. She was basically pouring a splash. The food was not that great. I ordered an omelette which was overcooked and rubbery. The toast was not buttered at all. I had to ask twice for marmalade for my toast. The atmosphere was even worse. The music was so loud I couldn't even hear the person sitting across the table from me. I asked the waitress numerous times to have the music turned down and was eventually told that they couldn't or wouldn't turn it down. I might add that we were not there on a Friday or Saturday night. My friends and I were there at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon and there was hardly anyone else in the bar. Place is adjacent to National Coney Island, which makes it very convenient if you want to get a drink and also order off Coney Island ' s menu. The food is good if you like Natonal Coney Island restaurants. We like to seat on the Jimmy''s Tavern side and watch a game sometimes. The main negative for us personally is the lack of professionalism from some staff. We were there yesterday and it would have been a perfect experience if not for the lady bartender addressing me as "sweetheart " in place of proper mam or miss. It hasn't happened so far on National Coney Island's side, only on Jimmy Tavern' side. Simple sir and mam would fix the problem and would get a higher rating and a bigger ...
