We had to come back as the first time we ventured here their kitchen had been closed do to a kitchen malfunction. It's been a neighborhood staple for quite some time and the parking lot is usually always full. Inside you will find a pretty decent bar and some pretty good tunes being played. It's wasn't overly loud so you can hold a decent conversation or at least it seemed that way when we sat down. We sat in a booth that was just inside the entrance and the bar itself was about 40 feet away where most of the regulars gather to check-up with each other. It has decent lighting so one can see the menu to place an order. I say this only because my father, who has really bad eyesight has to use a flashlight to be able to see the menu. They have a wide variety of appetizers from fried pickles to nachos to steak bites, spinach and artichoke dip and more. The rest of menu consisted of sandwiches and a steak dinner, large salads and pizza and wings, soup of the day. We were greeted promptly by a very polite young woman (Elena). She was professional, courtious as she asked us what we wanted to drink and promptly came back to take our order. Throughout the meal she checked on us several times and refilled our drinks. I would recommend her. The food was delicious and prepared to our expectations. I had just a burger and fries and my dad had the antipasto salad and just had a Coke to drink. I know it's a bar and some would say "what! you went to a bar and didn't drink!" Well we had to go down into Grosse Pointe afterwards so I didn't want to have one. I would recommend coming here for just a drink or two, and to grab a bite to eat or just hanging out with family and/or friends. There are plenty of tables to sit at so those with the need of a wheelchair shouldn't shy away. Then there are plenty of booths too. Restrooms are on-site and handicap parking.

Good place, the corned beef and barley soup was delicious the cheese bread was cheese bread. It was Taco Tuesday so pretty cool they had two tacos for $2. We ordered the wings and they would have been fantastic except for the old fryer oil they were fried in ruined them. They were sopping wet with old fry oil unfortunately. Not sure if you can tell from the photos. After eating one we tried to press the rest of them between napkins, didn't really work, I mean the napkins were soaking wet but so were the wings still. They were $15 for 10 wings. What made it worse is they put the wings in foil in a basket so they just soaked in a pool of oil and we're suuuuper soggy on the bottoms. Never a fan of sending things back and with something like this it's not like you can say hey can you just change your fryer oil real quick and make me some new wings. We had really good service as there was not many people there so that was nice. By the time we left around 7:00 I think they had one table and half the bar full. Definitely go on a Tuesday to get two for $2 tacos. Wish we would have just stuck to that.

We had the Hawaiian burger and the barnyard burgers and they were amazing! They use Dearborn ham and a good amount of bacon. The fries were freshly cut, thin and crispy, perfectly salted. Hands down some of the best fries I've ever had. The staff is a riot! So funny and nice, they started singing oldies to entertain themselves and we all started singing along. In addition, and this is probably the most important secret you'll ever learn about this place....the pinball machine lasts so freaking long! On two quarters both you and a friend can tag team it. No lie, if you like pinball you won't be disappointed!

My recent visit to Tipsy McStaggers left me thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service, making it a restaurant I would confidently recommend to anyone seeking a satisfying meal. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat, and the establishment certainly delivered on its promise of delicious cuisine.

The star of my dining experience was undoubtedly the wings. Each bite was a revelation of scrumptious flavor that had me savoring every morsel. What impressed me most was the perfect balance of seasoning throughout each wing - not too heavy, not too light, but just the right amount to enhance the natural flavors without overwhelming them. The preparation was clearly done with care and attention to detail, resulting in wings that were both tender and bursting with taste.

Equally impressive were the fries, which proved to be just as delicious as the wings. While it's true that it's hard to go wrong with a potato, these fries were executed exceptionally well. They had that perfect combination of crispy exterior and fluffy interior that makes for an ideal side dish. The seasoning complemented the wings beautifully, creating a harmonious meal that satisfied on every level.

If I had to point out one area where the experience fell short of perfection, it would be the beverage selection. I sampled two different drinks during my visit, and unfortunately, both were merely average - what I would describe as "mid." However, this minor disappointment didn't detract significantly from my overall experience, particularly since I'm not much of a drinker to begin with. For someone like me who is perfectly content with standard soft drinks and Coke products, the lackluster cocktail offerings weren't a deal-breaker.

The service throughout my meal was exemplary. My waitress demonstrated both politeness and professionalism that enhanced the dining experience considerably. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and maintained a friendly demeanor that made me feel welcome throughout my visit.

Taking everything into consideration, I would wholeheartedly recommend Tipsy McStaggers to anyone looking for a quick, delicious bite to eat. The exceptional quality of the food, particularly the wings and fries, combined with the professional service, makes this establishment a solid choice for a satisfying meal. While I can't personally vouch for the drink menu based on my experience, the food alone is worth the visit. Sometimes the simplest pleasures - like perfectly seasoned wings and well-prepared fries - are exactly what you need for a memorable...

Great bar and grill. I stopped in after a matinee movie for a corned beef sandwich and ended up buying a pizza too. I love this place. The bartender was great, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. I was really impressed and will be back soon. This cozy spot might be my new hangout. I would highly recommend Tipsy's to anyone who values great service and food that will not disappoint. I am so happy I stopped in. Great Place!!!

I went back to Tipsy's because I loved the place so much that I had to take my fiance. The second go round I decided to order the steak dinner, which came with a vegetable. The veggie pictured on the menu was my favorite, broccoli. So, I ordered the steak, which was really good; however, the bartender brought me a stir fry. She never mentioned that the veggie was a stir fry when I ordered broccoli. My $22 dinner(great $ price)came out with red onon, bell pepper and zucchini, not what I ordered. I asked for broccoli and this establishment, pettily refused to give me what I initially ordered and what is pictured on the menu as broccoli as the veggie. A manager even came out to tell me that she could not give me broccoli. Why? That is NOT good customer service. Terrible. She showed that they place policy over the customer. How petty, ignorant, and small of them not to accommodate a paying customer with a simple request of provided 4 or 5 brocolli florets to meet the need of someone who they are serving. I am sooooo disappointed. They have lost a customer....
