Went recently to visit the new location. This was my wife and I's fourth or fifth visit and as always we had an excellent meal. Typically we go for the burgers, which are always cooked perfectly and stacked with thoughtfully selected toppings, but this time I tried a chicken sandwich and my wife tried their fish sandwich. The sandwich I had was the spring special "Caprese", which had their fried chicken sat upon a layer of basil and corn mayo (aioli? who cares - it was delicious). Atop the chicken was tomato, mozzarella, and a couple strips of bacon for good measure. It was a somewhat bizarre package, but the flavors worked well to create a savory, creamy, and mildly sweet sandwich. The chicken itself didn't stand out to me, but there was a lot of flavor and texture to compete with. Next time I'm going to try something more straightforward to judge the chicken on its own merits. My wife's fish sandwich was excellent. It reminded me a lot of a certain chain restaurant's fish fillet sandwich, but with the ingredient quality and execution turned way up. We also got the crispy brussels sprouts app, which I highly recommend, and a couple of cocktails, both good and refreshing but not brag-worthy. The new space was gorgeous. I love the way the interior evokes a ship's cabin and the beautiful waterfront views. I'm glad that even in the new location Chomp is turning out top tier food. I've loved this place since it opened, and I'm really excited to see them movin' up in the world.

Went on a Sunday for lunch with my partner. Even though the restaurant was almost full, we sat at the bar where our service was quick and attentive. We were both quite looking forward to eating here after reading the great reviews, but ultimately our food was disappointing, mediocre, and overpriced. We first got an order of chicken tenders/boneless wings to share. I suppose chicken nuggets is a more accurate name because the pieces were on the smaller side. Despite them having a crispy exterior and a well cooked interior, the nuggets were severely underseasoned. Both the chicken and the batter were tasteless which completely ruined them. Additionally, these cost $14 which was too expensive for what you get. Onto the biggest disappointments: the burgers. I got the smash classic with a side caesar salad. The burger was unimpressive and forgettable. Much like the nuggets, the beef was underseasoned (possibly not seasoned at all) so the burger just tasted like plain beef. The "house pickles" were so flavorless you could've put plain cucumbers inside that burger and it wouldn't have changed anything. That side caesar salad was without a doubt the worst caesar salad I've had in my life. I always get the dressing on the side, but I couldn't mix it together because of the small, flimsy cardboard container they serve it in. Instead, I had to dip the lettuce into the dressing like if they were chips and salsa. The croutons were downright inedible. Allegedly "garlic butter croutons" but those were just oil-drenched cubes with no flavor aside from oil. The bottom of the salad had a bunch of indiscernible fried bits which I still don't know if they were fried shallots, or bacon bits, or pieces of the croutons. Regardless, they were just sitting at the bottom and only tasted like oil. That salad was arguably greasier than the burger and it cost 3 extra dollars; insulting. $19 for that! My partner got the house burger, which for some reason is the only burger on the menu that is NOT a smash burger. Instead, you get served a thick burger patty that is cooked to what I'm assuming was medium term. The server did not ask how we wanted the burger cooked so they just brought it like that. As with everything else, the burger was underseasoned (or not at all). The issue here was exacerbated due to the patty being so thick, so there was no escape from the plain beef flavor. There really was no saving grace to that burger. The lack of seasoning made it nearly inedible. The only enjoyable food in our entire meal were the fries that came with this burger. $17 for this one. Looking at the reviews, maybe we just had bad luck and the person that made our food doesn't know what salt and pepper is. Or maybe the food is supposed to be like that and you get all the flavor by smothering your food in sauces. Either way, our food was so mediocre that you can't pay me to go and try it again.

There are not adequate words to describe the most excellent experience we had at Chomp RI in Warren. The star of the show: fried chicken sandwiches. I had the BBQ Hot Honey Dipped Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side salad of mixed greens. Dude. This sandwich deserves awards. I’ll leave it at that because you’re going to order it when you visit. My husband had the Chomp Hot Chicken (sans the hot, as the signature spicy sauce comes conveniently on the side for those not on board the spicy train) with a side of fries. We also split a side of Mac n cheese and it didn’t disappoint. He had beer and I had the frozen red sangria and the Lavender Grapefruit Gimlet cocktail. Both excellent choices. Now to the space: dreamy beer garden with troughs of wildflowers and twinkly lights. Tables are spaced far apart to create a safe dining environment during this era of Covid uncertainty. Our server Sam was attentive and friendly. We already set up plans for a double date with our friends to make a return visit. This place has easily joined our top favorites list for the area. Now go. Go make a reservation, you won’t be disappointed.

First time coming here, and was immediately impressed. Very comfortable atmosphere, (if your looking for quiet and romantic, this isn't the place). The view off the back is beautiful, One side of the restaurant where the bar and row of beer taps are, is a wall of wood going up to the ceiling in a wave like design. The interior is modern and comfortable with a tall ceiling. The menu is smaller but has a wide range of choices, We ordered the Umami Sprouts and the Mac and Cheese balls, but were delicious full of flavor. I had the Honey Mustard BBQ Fried Chicken sandwich. It was one of the best friend chicken sandwiches Ive ever had. The portions are the right size, and nothing was left on our plates when we were done. My friends had, The Fish basket and a a Greek salad with rave reviews.. The have a great cocktail list and beer menu, mostly local beers and a great selection. Prices are reasonable and fair. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a different one, Im glad we decided to stop in Chomp.

The night started with a 1+ hour wait for a table for two, but oh my goodness was it worth it! This place has both some typical and atypical American fare, either of which while please the snobbiest or most particular of foodies! The friend hocken and burgers really shine on the menu but the wings are phenomenal in their own right. I have to say that their wing sauces include some odd options but are really tasty! Warning to the wise, one of the burgers stretches the ""Never eat anything bigger than your head" unofficial Yelp rule that is sometimes broken by people like me... Worth it! The whole meal set a very high bar and this place is worth whatever effort you need to make to get here, but above and beyond all of that I was incredibly impressed with how well prepared the fried chicken was, i think it might be the best I've had, even considering down south cooking!

Let me start this out by saying I've wanted to go to Chomp for years and finally went this past weekend. Made a reservation online and was able to sit in the biergarten. The parking situation was not ideal though. The parking lot at Chomp is mostly dedicated to take out orders so you probably won't find a spot. Additional parking is a couple blocks down at a children's workshop. So aside from the parking, the burgers were great! Very juicy, not overcooked, and very creative. I got the French onion burger and my boyfriend got the Mac & cheese burger. Beer is expensive here though, about $9 for a 16 oz can. Prices for food are higher than listed on the menu (went up by $1 per meal) just so youre prepared. Food was great, wait staff was nice. Overall a good atmosphere
