Hammonds Soul Deli — Restaurant in Warrensville Heights

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I’ve been coming here since this place opened. I moved out of town a few years ago and EVERY time I come home I stop in. NEVER AGAIN. It looks disgusting inside. The rugs in store are so disgusting, every customers shoes stuck to them. The food was terrible and severely undercooked. I called and told them, they were very rude and told me they wouldn’t remake it. By the way, there are no refunds all of sudden, probably because they have had way too many requests recently. I went back up there to discuss it with them. Once again, UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE, especially the cook! I saw the owner and tried to speak with him. He quickly became RUDE and belligerent! He was either drunk or high or both. He accused me of trying to get over on his restaurant even though i brought all of the food back. By the way, 3 other customers were inside complaining about how ridiculous the wait time was. If you want quality food and good customer service, in a reasonable timeframe, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I am still in disbelief at what this place has...

Absolutely one of the Best fried chicken dinners I've ever had. I went Back and of COURSE it changed 😒 Still One of the best and MY Personal favorite consistent tasting "fried🍗chicken" wings & fries 🍟 spots. But, Unfortunately, my buddy cooking, vocally expressed he Closing a Little early attitude😕 Therefore, the Quality was 'Inconsistent with MY Past experiences Here. Not, to mention that I brought 4 wing specials. So, yes while i was lil Upset & disappointed Only because i have to travel 20mins 2get there and 20 mins back!!!😋💯🤤💯🤗 Btw, Also he put the wrong Sauce on one of the dinners which was Not Cool as well cause I order 2bbq and 2bufalo🙄💯🤦🏿‍♂️🤫 One last thing...I hope my Folks@Hammonds deli are NOT upset @ ME!!!🙌🏿🙈💯🤷🏿‍♂️ Whenever, they Replace and REMAKE me a Consistent Dinner that I'm Satisfied with😍 Then, at that time I will "Update" my Review and repost the UPDATED...

Ordered lunch via DoorDash for pickup. Placed order early to make sure I wouldn't be late going back to work and still have time to eat. I was given a time to pick the food up. I get there only to be told that my chicken wasn't ready because they were waiting for oil heat up. As I'm waiting in my car in front of the door, I see an employee leave the bar next door with two shots and 2 Redbulls.

I walked in to see if my food is ready. I had to wait until AFTER the employees stopped going back & forth about an issue to see if my food was even ready. No complaints about the food at all. I just feel like I wasted my lunch, which was something I tried to avoid by ordering earlier than my lunch break.
