I just had to beg to be given the food I paid for. I regularly order panda (probably about once a week) so I know that the bigger plate is supposed to come with a small red box with the third side in it. I placed an order through the drive-through and after driving off and realizing the small red box was missing, we drove back to the drive thru where we literally had to request the food we paid for for about five. When we first pulled up we told her that our side entree had been forgotten and she told me that the bigger box does not come with a small side when I told her I’m a regular at panda and it 100 % does she then changed the story and claimed that she actually put enough in the main box that I did not need another side. I told her it looked like a regular portion in the white box and that I needed the third entree I paid for. She finally went and got it and as she’s handing it to me through the window, she let me know that she put a smaller amount in there since I already received my normal portion. The absolute audacity lol. I definitely will never return to this location again. After the incident occurred, I did call the store and asked to speak to The supervisor I told them what happened thinking there would be a horrified response to his employees behavior. That was not the case there was no apology or offer to remedy the situation just an “I’ll speak to...
Read moreAlways tasty but not always real fresh. It would be nice if they could focus on bigger entree portion size and a little less starchy noodles/rice. Spicy food could be spicier. The egg rolls are always good. Orange chicken and sweet-fire dishes are almost always good, but very dependent on the cook that's building the food. 02/2025 - Lowering my rating to 3 stars across the board. The woman running the counter didn't seem like she wanted to be there. We had to wait for fries rice, but when it was cooked, they didn't promptly serve it. The restaurant was nearly empty so it can't be blamed on them being overly busy. For the 2nd time in a row they were out of black tea. The water from the fountain dispenser was really funny tasting - it needs filtering badly. 07/2025 - these folks are sneaky. I asked for a plate with both honey sesame chicken and I got a larger plate...and got charged for it. Then they wouldn't give me half off of my other plate for their monthly special. Too many hoops to jump through for the rewards that Ive earned. Restaurant was packed with noisy kids running everywhere. Not a good experience. Couldn't wait to get...
Read moreThree reasons I'll never eat there again... . First, I am highly sensitive to MSG and sulfites when used in large quantities. And my symptoms come on strong immediately after eating at Panda Express. . Second, they use sub par ingredients. For example, the broccoli and the beef (in the beef with broccoli) is always tough. Not undercooked, tough. If they want to use cheap beef they should at least use a natural tenderizer (there are many ways to do this). . And there is a difference between tough broccoli and undercooked (al dente). I enjoy broccoli that's not soft, overcooked, the way most Americans eat it.
Panda Express broccoli is just plain bad. It's not only tough, the stems are hard and stringy, but it often also has a hint of a fishy flavor. Not sure where they buy it, but the quality is shameful. That's with beef and broccoli as well as just the broccoli alone.
Lastly, the amount of beef in the large Al la Cart beef and broccoli is about 1 ounce. No exaggeration. There were 3-4 small pieces and several teeny tiny pieces in the last 3 purchases over more than a year's time. Clearly a regular...
