It was one of the worst experience that I've encountered at McDonald's. We waited 20 minutes in the drive thru line. Then when it was our turn to order, the person who was taking drive thru orders sounded as though they were off in another world. When the line finally moved forward ( only because people were angry and pulled out of the line and left. ) I pulled up to the window to pay and NO ONE was there to take money!! I waited there for 5 minutes without seeing anyone to pay for my order, I pulled forward to the pick-up window, explained to this young person what had happened . This person begins to tell me how they are so short handed and how the people they had working can not handle the work...etc . In the meantime my young grandchildren are in the backseat wanting their dinner, the oldest one can tell time and she said very loudly that we have been in line for their dinner 35 minutes now. The kid at the pick-up window left to get a manager came back....my granddaughter said grandma, we've been here 40 minutes and we still don't have our fpod!! My youngest of the two began to cry after waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru line, now at 42 minutes of waiting they were both in tears!! The manager comes to the window...does not make eye contact, was very rude as I'm explaining our experience. Still no eye contact at all, he leaves the pick-up window mumbling. When he returns, he has the 2 children's meals we had ordered. And then, with NO GLOVES ON HIS HANDS he proceeds to handle the children's food... mumbling that he was having to check the orders to make sure they did not 'screw up " this order as well. He did not say sorry for the inconvenience, and still didn't make eye contact of any kind. Now we have been there for 60 minutes. Are you kidding me?? And though he checked the ordet.both kid meals were ordered with sprite as a drink , 1 child actually got sprite, the other got water.. I was not, going back to wait in that line, to have the orders corrected!!!!I I will NEVER return to the McDonald's in the shopping plaza off of hwy 30 in Warsaw, Indiana!! In fact that visit to McDonald's sealed the deal.... I Will not be returning to any McDonald's in Warsaw Indiana. I would rather go into a sit down facility where I'll likely pay a higher price, but at least I will know that my family will be treated as a valued customer. I will znot be returning to any of the 3...
Read moreSo, I was just at the McDonalds on Commerce Dr in Warsaw, IN. Safe to say, will never be going back.
I was in the play area with Wendolynn, and she wanted to play on this bouncing thing. I set her up on it and started bouncing it. After Wendy was done with it, she left that area. Now, I had taken my medicine and my medicine does make me light headed at times. I ended up balancing my knee on the toy and an employee started scolding me. Now, I wouldn’t have had such a problem with it, but she was treating me like a child and decided to do it in front of everyone that was there. She not only embarrassed me but she growled and rolled her eyes after telling me multiple times, after I had already taken my knee off of it, that I was way too old for it. I have pretty bad social anxiety and when put in situations like this, I do have panic attacks. Patrick had witnessed this and went to talk to a manager to let them know that the employee did not handle the situation well. That she could have came over to speak with me privately and then I could have told her about not feeling well. The manager said that the employee was just doing her job. Although, she defended her, she had the employee come apologize for the misunderstanding. I appreciated that. The employee came and said sorry, but at this point, my panic attack had made me non verbal. The employee apologized and when all I did was nod my head, she pushed me slightly and said “hey I’m talking to you”. I told her to not touch me, as I am a survivor of domestic violence. She rolled her eyes and said “well sorry” walked off and started laughing while mocking my telling her not to touch me.
I am very disappointed and will not be...
Read moreIf you go inside, be prepared to wait in line. They recently removed 2 registers and installed 4 kiosks that display a beautiful picture of the words "this register closed. Kiosk customers order at the counter". That sounds good and all, but since this is the only clean McDonald's in town there's going to be 20 angry people in line in front of you. After 25 or so minutes you should be able to get your order placed and, Lord willing, 15 minutes later you'll get someone's food. I will say the play place is beautiful and almost always filled with sockless feral children eating their only meal of the day in between shrieking at their parents for not supersizing the 20pc Mcnugget meal they're cramming in their face.
Update 11/9/18
Still the worst run place in town. All 4 kiosks it off order because not one single person knows how to add paper to the printer. One person working the counter who had to make so the specialty coffee. One manager who hides in the back and makes sandwiches. Go to one of the other locations.
Good luck.
Update 12/12/22:
4 people working today and none of them can run the register. Kiosks don't print receipt. There's an old man standing at the counter waiting to pay for food that's never going to come. Ice machines are both down and at least 6 customers have walked. Hopefully, robots will...
