Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Warsaw

On moms birthday she had a desire for chicken, and she preferred eating in. While going thru the driveway, we empathized our desire for biscuits. The young lady assured us the biscuits would included. Unfortunately, when we finally sat down for moms birthday meal, the biscuits weren't there. That was a bummer, so mom called the location and the mgr. was extremely apologetic. They were fully prepared to give us fresh biscuits, if we wanted to pickup. Living way across town, and already at the dinner table, none of us could make it happen. Before I was onto my 2nd wing, there was a knock on the door, it was the manager of Popeyes. She decided to deliver the biscuits, so that our meal was complete. She had no clue, till she was there, that it was moms birthday. Plus she promised mom a courtesy free combo, for later use. The mgr., Jasmine, is super friendly, helpful, professional, and a great asset to Popeyes. She shared that she loves the Popeye company, and is committed to repositioning the place. As we come to understand, Jasmine is the new manager. I read other reviews, and my friendly advice is let's root on this restaurant that has traditionally good food. We wanted to wait until the hype wore off before we tried it. It did not disappoint!!!! That was the best fast food I have had in a long time!!! One thing that I want to note is the spiciness of the food. It's not overpowering. Yeah, it's got a slight kick to it but it allows the true flavor to come thru. For someone who can't handle spicy food, this was just perfect!!! Even the buffalo sauce I used for the nuggets was flavorful, but not so hot that I needed ranch dipping sauce like other places. Too much spiciness ruins it and you can't enjoy the meal. This was just the right amount of heat to it.

Also, a member of the dinner night has dentures so we try to make sure that there is something soft that she can eat. I was a little nervous about her choice in the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Sandwiches are some times too hard for her to eat. It was crunchy, but not so crunchy that it made her teeth come loose like other places. She ate the whole thing along with fries and her teeth were still in place.

All in all, it's our new favorite dinner...

I ate lunch at this location at least once a week if not 4 or 5 times in any given week since the day it opened af few months back. At first it was good, not great (service wise). About a month ago, they started slipping bad. It started out with menu issues (not having menu items mostly). It then escalated into the just the service. I havent visited this location in a long time and they actually gotten my order correct. Its always something, no biscuit, no spork, no "requested" condiments. All of that I took in stride because I LOVE their food and it was a brand new location!! BUT...yesterday I finally tried calling the location and simply tell them of their short comings and how bad it had gotten. The lady that answered was SUPER RUDE from the start and didnt have any time to listen to a basic review from a VERY frequent customer that had been dealing with this locations growing pains patiently since the day it opened.
