I stayed there for 3 nights on my way to Valparaiso IN. The Customer Service is excellent, and I spoke at length with the proprietor and management and we found we had very much in common ! This hotel is run by very nice polite, accommodating people...who provide Good Customer Service, And there's not too many of those left around. It's the best as well as most reasonably priced, for the service, hotel around. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel in my beloved city, where my ex- fiancee Donald went to Grace Seminary and where I used to be employed at Grace Village......Plus I'd say Grace Village is one of the better facility's in the State ! I In fact would NEVER put my own mom or my Dad- Bob at any less of a facility, unless it were Possibly Catherine Kasper at Ancilla College. Warsaw and Winona Lake are Wonderful Areas.. ....and its also where we all started out, before I went back home to help my Mom.
( and when my ex- fiancee Donald went back to Pennsylvania to help his father then, too....before my mother met her companion, Dad- Bob, from Mokina Illinois (our 3rd father). (💌💌💌). It's a Very Christian area that can't be surpassed by other area,
and it's also one of the best facilities I've ever worked at, and I've worked at all of them while working for companies doing traveling nursing. The pillows at that hotel in itself is worth the stay. After the 3 nights stays, you even get a free nights stay with Windham Rewards ! It is also a very nice town that I came from originally, to help my mother (30 years ago,) moving to Tinley Park Illinois, and to Valparaiso IN when I did. If any of my family from my mom and Dad- Bob ever visit, that is;
My sister Suzi, David or Kelly, my Nephew Sean, or my niece Crystal, or my theyer children, Tyler and Mckinna or Levi, My Niece Nicole Poe or theyer children or my Nephew Little Ricky and the grand baby's with them, .... Little Erik, Macy Katelyn Riley and AJ,
that are the grandchildren from mom and Dad Bob, All our nieces and nephews, 🎅🤶🥳💌😊🧖♀️ 🏂🏌♂️🛍💄🩰...👳♀️🏌♂️🏌♀️ This is one of the Hotels I will definitely recommend that they stay at ... (Mom's love make-up), and etc.,...
Read moreCan’t really say I enjoyed this stay, there were several things to be unhappy with.
We had 2 rooms. When we showed up, it was July 4th and not a last minute reservation. We got into our rooms at 11 and it was boiling - the a/c in both units was turned off and the thermostat was at 85*. Since you turn off the airflow, the rooms both had a smell. One of the rooms smelled like straight mildew once the temperature finally got down, but we didn’t notice until the morning. The saving grace of 1 star is that they accommodated for us to switch rooms the next morning that had a smell, but wasn’t mildew.
It seems like they tried to keep things clean, but the entire hotel felt dingy. Carpets were dirty, all 3 of our rooms had a smell, there were holes in the window curtains, etc.
They also advertise free breakfast and gym access, neither of which are true. “Small breakfast” of just coffee, and a workout room that is completely empty.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here unless the circumstances require you to. Won’t be the worst place in the world, but you can deal with it for a night or two if you’re not spending all day...
Read moreThis hotel was a blessing sent from heaven after the experience I had in Chicago. We arrive very late (2am the next day) and called ahead to inform them. They welcomed up and got us checked in seamlessly. The room was beautifully cleaned. The beds were comfy and I personally loved the blanket choices (one very soft one, then a classic light cover.) The people who worked the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Location - the convenience was how close it was to the freeway. Only a slight detour which was great. There are also plenty of restaurants and a nature park nearby. For anyone coming from Chicago, water is free 🥹. It's a grab n go "breakfast" as advertised. Nothing fancy but there's coffee and water. Would love if they added tea bags and hot water for the future!
Con- there was a faucet drip in the bathub when we arrived. We made a tweak to it (pulled up the plug) and it dwindled in sound. I didn't bring it to the attention of anyone due to just needing to sleep that night for our roadtrip and it being not a big deal at all.
Imo- definitely...
