Imma be dead honest, coming from a former employee (hasn’t been too long)
This place is nice and the people are great and fun. The mornings, not really because its older people and thats when customers are not nice most the time but the afternoons and nights are more better. Customers can be nice and understanding. The employees are fine mostly, the minors can be fun but usually aren't good at their jobs as well. Like making messes, not picking up after themselves, being too slow, being a bit annoying to others, or just also loud. Russell is the minor that's pretty great though, but he also gets picked up too as well as other great employees. The managers are fun and nice, well... Besides the main one. The past ones as well were great too. What makes people unhappy and this place depressing sometimes and stressful is the big bungus main boss. Literally... EVERYONE agrees shes not uhm... The nicest. There's lots of unfairness and putting stress on her poor husband.
She's grumpy and puts her issues on everyone else. Just because she has alot on her plate (literally) doesn't mean she should take it out on everyone else. Especially when she's always arguing with Nate and coming at few of the morning and night employees. As well as few of the minors too. She picks and chooses and its very unfair. Few people have left and want to because of it. The fun boss, Christian, is very nice and The two main bosses don't like him but only because he doesn't bow down on his knees to them. People actually like him because he's nice and doesn't judge others or is rude. He understands and yes he does do things and clean as well as well as helping any employee that needs help. Another boss that is no longer there, she was fun too and nice. It just sucks that this place is nice but gets ruined by someone who has a big ego. She acts and sounds nice but in reality she doesn't like the customers, and then gets upset when Nate talks back to her or tells her the truth.
She doesn't like being treated "bad" or talked back to or rushed, but literally she's not nice to others. They've told people to go home for no reason but she wines and complains when someone calls off for work, especially when its minors or someone literally can't come in. Just she devotes her sad life to that place, doesn't mean everyone else wants to. She threatens to fire people as well and she writes up people without telling them or trying to understand the situation. She should focus more on going to therapy to work on her ego and health than sitting around eating Italian ice and stressing everyone else out. She LITERALLY takes up the whole space then claims people...
Read moreI like Wendy's. I don't go very often, as I'm not big on fast food. I was there on Sunday with my boyfriend. We met up with his friend Jimmy, who had a young son. He was 5 years old. The food was prepared in a timely fashion and restaurant was fairly clean. However, I noticed there was not a manager on staff that night. The son got a little fussy and impatient. He was having trouble sitting still, as boys his age do. I think he was also bored and sleepy, which is understandable. When I asked the cashier guy if they had anything for kids to color with, he said no. This was very disappointing. I feel every family restaurant should have fun things to do such as a small game, coloring & activity books to entertain and help keep little ones occupied. Especially, in times like that. People like that young man that come in are single moms and dads. This is a service Wendys should provide to their guests. This is a corporate issue, which I feel should be taken higher up. Had a manager been present, he might have been able to better accommodate us. Also, the wall near the drink area with a quote from the founder with his signature, was missing a "u." So, instead of saying founder, it said fonder. It looks really tacky. When these types of details are overlooked or ignored, it drives me nuts. It's one of my pet peeves. Someone took time and effort to create a nice wall feature for the restaurant to honor the founder, Dave. Leaving it like that, seems so wrong. It looks like...
Read moreI don't rate or review things often, but this is a special case. This is my local Wendy's and I have kids who love nuggets and Frosties, so we've been coming here semi-regularly for over 15 years. I have pretty low standards in general and I don't expect much from a fast food joint, but this place has done almost nothing well in the decade and a half I've been a customer:
There's more but I'm tired and I hate the number 4. The important thing to note is that these problems have persisted for decades, so you can't blame it all on staff, equipment (the store was remodeled at least once since I've been a customer), or the pandemic. There are some decent Wendy's locations around, so whoever owns this store clearly doesn't give two sacks of llama droppings about quality as long as they're making a...
