I went to this store because I needed help with resetting the voice mail password on my 95 year old father's phone. I have 4 smart phones on my account and then a plain flip phone for my father. This is the 2nd flip phone he's had. The 1st one he had for many years and it was only a 3G and since 3G is being discontinued being Verizon sent him a new 4gLTE cheap basic flip phone. He couldn't remember Has password so I went herer for help. They were not interested in helping at all only wanted to sell me a new phone, a new plan, and internet for my house. I was completely taken off guard when the gentleman helping us kept insisting that this new phone would not work after the end of the year like my old 3G. All he wanted was to sell me a 5G smartphone. In the end we ended up updating our plan but walked out without any help for the reason we came in since I was told it would be a waste of time to address this problem on his flip phone since it would no longer work in 6 months. I went home and called corporate Verizon and within 5 minutes had his password reset. I also did some research but could not confirm what I was told at this store. Everything I've been told elsewhere is that 4GLTE most likely will be around for another decade. My advice for anyone entering this store is don't believe what your told here. From my experience they are not trustworthy and I would double check anything you are told. All they want to do is sell you something. Read moreI upgraded my phone with Darnell on Monday. It took a few hours for everything to transfer, but he was kind, generous and fun. I witnessed him helping several people who happen to be older with all sorts of questions, some were related to his job and some were not. He was gracious and helpful, and always looking out for the best interest of his clients. I mentioned to him how wonderful I thought it was that he helped people out. He shared that he has seen many situations where older people were being taken advantage of by scammers. He works extra hard to protect his customers . I cannot say enough about his service. Because he wanted to make sure everything was transferred from my old phone to my new one, he allowed me to take my old phone with me for a few days to make sure nothing was missing. He gave me the return label, but told me that all I had to do was bring the phone back and that he would ship it directly from the store. I returned to the store today with the original box from my old phone the return label and attempted to drop it off with the person who was working at the time. I explained what Darnell had said to me, however he still looked up my account. I had no issue with him verifying what I said, but he told me that because they had no boxes. I would have to take my phone to the UPS store. I found his customer service to be quite lacking. I will always return to the store as long as Darnell is there. Read moreMy husband and I ordered 2 new phones and we would of been new customers however we selected everything online and were doing the option of picking up in store. We selected this store as it is closest to us. We get there and the assistant manager Jose tells us he needs 40 mins to get everything taken care of. we come back in 40 mins and and we are then told they do not have one of the phones in store however when we first arrived he pulled both phones and then when we return he says they only had one of them and that the only solution is to cancel our whole order and then repay for the order then we are told we would be refunded in 1-2 days we find out from calling customer service that it'll actually be 3-5 days. The way this man talked to us was unbelievable. He couldn't answer any of our questions and then when I call customer service myself I am then told they could o fixed it for us without doing all of the canceling and reordering. Ill NEVER ever go to this location again. Jose the assistant manager could not have been any worse at customer service. Its very obvious to us and to the other folks in the store at the time that the didn't want to do much but play on his phone.
