My wife came in to have important tests completed. She has multiple health conditions and is currently pregnant. At her previous visit, not all of her tests were done correctly. She tried contacting LGHealth beforehand to understand why this happened, and when she arrived this time, she simply asked to make sure everything would be done correctly.
Instead of helping, tylerâwhose job is apparently to âmanageââchose to be dismissive and unpleasant. My wife, already under stress with a high-risk pregnancy, left the interaction feeling distressed and disrespected. This is absolutely unacceptable.
We spend a significant amount of money here. Why would LGHealth employ someone with such a short temper and lack of basic professionalism in a patient-facing role? If she cannot treat people with dignity, perhaps a non-public positionâmoving boxes in a basementâwould be more suitable.
The rest of the staff were professional, and even the lab technicians appeared embarrassed by tylerâs conduct. But the damage was already done: my wife now says she doesnât want to return. I disagreeâshe will return, but next time with me. I will ensure this âmanagerâ either learns what respect means or is held accountable for her behavior.
I cannot fathom how someone working in healthcare can deliberately cause distress to a pregnant woman, let alone one with a high-risk pregnancy. It is disgraceful.
My mission now - is to make SURE that I can make as many people aware as I can about the person working here and the behavior that is obviously tolerated by this...
   Read moreVery poor experience at this "PENN MEDICINE" Kissel hill Location on 4/12/24 @ 8:40 PM. Brought my father in for a burn on his foot. He was in a lot of pain and found it hard to walk. The woman at the front desk said they reached their quota for the day and stop seeing patients at 8:30 PM. Website hours are until 9 PM. There were NO OTHER patients there. The front desk lady asked the Dr. if they would see him? She returned after several minutes and said the doctor told us to go to the nearest ER. I repeated the website hours were until 9 PM and wanted to see a Dr. She repeated for us to go to the closest ER. Extremely disappointed in our treatment at this facility. They turned an 85 year old man away in pain during regular business hours and would not bother to even take a look at him or the condition he was in. What kind of "healthcare" facility does this?    Read moreI like my doctor here and I've only had good medical experiences with them, but they are taking on too many patients and can no longer schedule any of the existing ones. I called with a health issue I needed to be seen for and was told the earliest I could be scheduled was six weeks out. This was a time sensitive issue, and related to earlier health issues I'd had that the staff and doctors knew about, yet they couldn't get me in at all. I gave up and found a new doctor to handle this. Disappointing, but I'm not sure what else I can do when I clearly can't wait six weeks to be seen. They end appointments at 3:30 PM and aren't open on weekends, so scheduling is a nightmare for...
