Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Washington Township

Great bagels, mediocre service. Expect to wait a long time now. Also, they have a hard time getting orders right. Then many times they beg for a tip at the register after getting my order wrong. Not terrible but room for improvement before asking for tips. UPDATE: Today they were clearly understaffed, fine, maybe not their fault, but the person taking my order could not keep it straight. I could have sworn I saw 3 bagels go into the bag but only two made it. So because they don't track their orders, the customer does, I was charged for 3 bagels but only got 2. So my kids got the short end of the stick today. Wasn't going to complain but they left me no choice. Also wasnt going to be a total jerk and try to get them to refund one bagel over the phone when they were running as inefficiently as they were. Oh, and they would have given me regular egg instead of egg white had I not caught that today... Update: The crew filling in for the regular staff on Black Friday deserve applause. Much better experience with that crew than previous visits. Added a star untill service goes back down. Update: After being asked for a tip and giving one because of the holiday, I was shorted half my food by a girl who doesn't listen or remember. I had to drive back and then they couldn't figure how to give a redund. Gave me cash but kept their tip. Update: Was maybe starting to get better but was shorted a bagel again, because of no ticketing system and the customer telling the store what they ordered regardless of what the staff actually gives you. Update: I have tried to go here several times lately and the line is always super long. Not worth that long of a wait for a bagel. They need more stores, more employees, or better management. I love coming here on the weekend but today was such a traumatizing experience. I came in 20ish mins before close and 3 people were making bagels and 1 at the register. There was a couple in front of me taking their order and the other two employees were making other people’s bagels who were being cashed out at the time. Another couple walks in behind me. 1of the 3 employees became available looked me, looked at the couple then greeted them “hi, how are you. What can I get for you?”. I look at the couple then the employee because I didn’t understand why she just completely skipped over me. At this moment, NOONE has spoken to me, not a “hi”, not a “I’ll be with you in a moment” , literally nothing. After standing there for 7/8 mins the person at the register and other two people became available…no one still says a word. The first young girl who initially ignored me becomes available and STILL no one speaks to me.

I really don’t want take it here but due the lack of employee diversity in the store, I really hope this sort of lack of service had nothing to do with me being black.

We really enjoyed our recent trip to this restaurant for breakfast. We had a western sandwich on an asiago bagel. I did not realize the sandwich was coming with bacon on it but it, but it had bacon, cheese, a special sauce, peppers, and onion. The veggies were all uncooked. we opted to eat in while we were there and we headed to the back of the restaurant. In the back of the restaurant there is an oversized window where you can sit and also see the workers working in the kitchen. There's some large oversized equipment in the back. Their House blend coffee was a nice blend I would describe it as a darker tasting coffee. This restaurant has a nice seating area with one area for larger groups and mostly seats with setup for two to four people. If you see parking all the way to the back of the store you will also find a second entrance. At the second entrance in the back of the store there are two long tables with bar style seating. This is a good place to set if you are eating there alone. While we were there we saw a variety of people from old to Young mostly couples and also a few groups of students who look like they are from the local...
